Where are you guys finding the lineup? ??? The site just says lineup will be announced on 3/19 with some video link of the park in the snow. Is it on Facebook or something? I can't see facebook from work

It wasn't 5 minutes ago (for me at least), but it is now, thanks!
Last year was a blast, being just about an hour away from my house this is a pretty much a no brainer for me, especially with Randolf/Primus/Cliff/Umph/Keller/Galactic
Wish I could go just because it's my gf's favorite fest and I had such a good time last year, but I start my first internship in Atlanta on Monday, so I'm pretty sure raging a festival that weekend would not be ideal. Looks like a good lineup though, if not mindblowing, but there's still the Sunday headliner. Plus hell yeah at DBB, Galactic, and Robert Randolph.
main stages - probably about midnight. late night tents rage until 3 or 4.
sets are a bit over an hour, as i recall. late night sets are longer
massive, massive, massive party scene in the campgrounds.
security is not as tight as roo.
they have two major stages, side by side - as one band plays, the other band is setting up. results in no overlapping main stage sets and barely any pause in the music.
is in bridgeport on the beach - not a bad venue. birdgeport is a cesspool of a city.
That's what I like to hear. All the overhead pictures I see look great. But I noticed no one is ever in the water. I'm guessing there's no swimming? Anything else I should know?

^ You are allowed in the water, but I grew up on Long Island and in elementary school I was taught all too well about all the toxic dumping that goes on in the Sound. Plenty of people did wade out to hang on the sandbars though, if I recall corectly.
It's definitely a strange venue, I was camped in the outfield of a baseball field at the edge of the park right next to downtown Bridgeport
Ah, so that's why no one was in the water. I'm seriously contemplating this fest. I've heard lots of good things about this one. Plus, the fact that there is still a Sunday Headliner to be announced gets me even more excited.

Someone on Jambase was saying you won't see Furthur or Ratdog because Jay Lane just left Furthur to rejoin Primus. Don't know the validity of not seeing Furthur/Ratdog there but the news about Jay Lane was definitely true.

They had DSO and Ratdog last year, so there's no reason they couldn't have DSO and Furthur this year. And they are still touring with one drummer. So Furthur is still a distinct possibility. But, if they were playing Vibes, they'd be the Saturday headliner, not Sunday. A lot of people are gone by Sunday night.
I'm def going this year... I live like an hour away but have never been. I can't miss this year though Primus, RR&FB, Umphrey's, Big Sam's Funky Nation... i cant wait to see who is headlining sunday!

For whatever it is worth I heard Furthur had a no other New England festie clause for Nateva.

They've added Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings to the lineup.
Also, it looks like the Sunday Headliner is gonna be Damian Marley & Nas with a big Stellar Friday Headliner getting revealed on May 15 instead.
Suspiciously, at almost the same time I got this email today, I also got one from Furthur announcing two new dates in NYC on July 28-29 , which happens to put them less than 90 minutes away from Bridgeport just in time for...
... not saying it means anything, just that it seems kind of suspicious and convenient, no?
Anyway, they released the schedule breakdown by day

The people at Nateva festival said something a little while back on their facebook page that hinted towards Gathering of the Vibes still having the biggest name to announce.
I'd say it's definitely Furthur. Can't imagine who else it could be but no matter what.....i'm excited to see who.
