i landed 4 tickets, front row, center, 2nd balcony for the dallas show, about 20 minutes after the onsale
the first balcony tickets I was pulling were tucked in the corner, 3 rows back, so i figured, there really isn't a bad seat in the house, so front row mezzanine would kick ass!
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
I had safari and firefox going to try and find better tickets on each, that way you never have to actually give up tickets.
^^yeah, unfortunately I thought about that after the fact. I woke up just to get tickets so I wasn't exactly thinking clearly. oh well, I can't biznatch too much I guess... at least we get to go!
btw, I was noticing your browser list there and thought to share that they have finally release google chrome for mac and I HIGHLY recommend giving it a spin. I started using it the day it came out in beta a year and a half ago and never looked back... even in BETA it was the best! www.google.com/chrome?platform=mac
I just bought a ticket to the Knoxville show at Orchestra level. I can't believe I paid $140 after expenses, but I certainly don't regret it. I'm going solo since my dickhole friends are cheap, which is not a good complement to the whole dickhole thing.
holy shiz. i was going to buy tickets to see him in austin, but the cheapest seats on the first floor are over 200$. the cheapest seats in the whole house are 2nd balcony and after fees are more than 75$!

Damn it he ended with Heart of Gold instead of electric My My, Hey Hey lucky bastards.
He played the new songs you highlighted(along with Peaceful Valley and Love and War) at the show I went to as well. Leia was a plunky piano ballad, and the others were guitar jams.
Anyone who is seeing him soon, have fun, it will be one of your favorite shows of the year.
The crowd in Knoxville was annoying, though. People kept shouting out requests...I almost had to kill a mongoloid or two. Neil played it off, though. First, someone shouted a request for "Old Man" and Neil acted offended and yelled "hey!", which was funny. Then later, when people continued to shout requests, he said they had good ideas and should form a focus group. Idiots.

yeah the crowd last night was somewhat annoying at times but I think everyone was just excited which is understandable given the circumstances.
The show was awesome, it sounded so good although I must admit that it was the first show I have ever seen where the entire audience remained seated! ;D But that was also understandable given the nature of the concert and the fact that the 75% of the crowd was 55+ (which made it even more awesome imho).

i'm at home because they canceled the other show because of the weather. let me know if you still want to meet after the show. it will take me longer to get there from home.

The show was incredible. One of the best shows I have seen in quite some time... The only thing that could've made the night better is if SC (or Spartanburg, rather) didn't have such pussnut drinking laws. Coffee and doughnuts before a show is not nearly as riveting as beers and nachos.
