Hi - First post and new to Inforoo.org. You guys have some Great information and i've been sifting through your message board for days just collecting knowledge. So thanks everyone for being so helpful.
My friend and I just purchased our tickets and the two of us (two 24 year old females) will be driving down on the 9th from New York. We know a few groups of people who "might" be coming - but we don't have any sure things and we aren't counting on them to come through.
Though we've both camped before - we are a little nervous about camping alone and were hoping to find some other people who would be coming from the same area - OR - could meet up so we could do a caravan thing once we got to TN.
Any advice for us would be greatly appreciated, or any other groups willing to caravan with us and tent near us would be awesome!
2/5- Papadosio 3/3- MUSE 3/12- John Mayer 3/19- The Werks 3/31- Passion Pit 4/18- Ben Folds 4/20- Against Me! 6/10- Bonnaroo 6/30- Eric Clapton and Roger Daltrey

I think hotels take away from the experience at roo. Camping is one of the best things about roo, although it isnt your normal camping because you have your car at your disposal at all times. Were planning on leaving tuesday night from suffolk county. I'm not sure how many people are coming with us but as of now theres definetly going to be four of us, two guys and two girls. So if you wanna tent near each other or hell even drive down following each other let me know! This will be my fourth roo and I can't wait for june to come!
yeah deff, sounds awesome we should do a little meet up. which way do you guys take to get down there? also, how long on average has it taken you? yeah, we debated camping but the hotel literally cost us nothing *someone had free nights* and it would have cost us more to camp actually.
Just registered after finding this site, ill be heading down to roo for the first time this year with 1 other person guaranteed and up to 2 more joining us. Were gonna be headin out from Buffalo
Hello, I am going to be leaving from Manhattan with one girl and 3 guys. We have plenty of room, and we have a great place to stay if your still looking for something safer. We leased a Tour bus that will be parked near all the great stages. 12 bunks, private shower, fridge and so on. Party atmosphere and all things nice for the roo. Most of us are all new so we wanted to do it right. The remaining people will be coming in from so cal.

I'm leaving from Suffolk County Wednesday night and driving nonstop till Roo with 1 25 year old and her 26 year old husband. Maybe my 19 year old guy friend. But we might be in handicap camping, but we will be able to have 1 companion vehicle if we do get our handicap parking pass

Leaving from Massapequa, Long Island (Nassau County) Wednesday morning around 6am. Stopping in Bristol TN, Motel 6. Drive next morning another few hours to Bonnaroo. This plan has worked for me... and I've been going every year since 2004. Going with my best friend, his cousin and his cousins girlfriend. Let me know if you need help.
coming from suffolk county..there's 4 of us 2 guys 2 girls...all our first time..we're camping..also have about 4 other friends we are following down there but we will all be camping just not sure where yet..down to hang with whoever..especially fellow new yorkers!!
don't be scared! bonnaroo is amazing because it is filled with super friendly awesome people. if you're confused about anything, ask someone around you! if you want to make friends, just be friendly with your neighbors! I'm sure you'll be welcomed with open arms
