Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Just ran across today's post from Jenkazoo in the 2009 Helping Hands Thread, so I thought why not create a 2010 thread?
Here is the 2009 lowdown from TROO last year:
For the past few years, some of us Roosters volunteer to bring extra supplies for those that can't bring a lot of stuff (flying in, greyhounding, hitching) so they won't be left short. It worked well enough last year that there has been interest expressed in giving this another try. So here we go.
This thread is a place for such people to request any needed staples that we who are driving in could easily bring. People can then PM each other and coordinate a meeting at Roo. This thread is here to help facilitate connections.
Here's how it works. If you need something, request it and someone will hopefully PM you saying they will bring it. Or see if someone has offered to donate it, Pm the donor and arrange a meeting at Roo. It's that simple.
Once a person in need arrives at Roo they can call their donor, find where they are camping and pick up their stuff (or arrange a central meeting place and time.)
Let's spread the LOVE!
Rules: Nothing illegal (obviously); Nothing expensive (Don't abused the good will) Remember, no one know where they will be camping. Be aware you may need to walk some distance to pick up donations. Once a donor/recipient have connected, please post and let me know so I can strike through the request and donation to help limit unnecessary and potentially bothersome PM's.
That's it. Request, Donate and PM away! Post your hookups! It's that easy!
To paraphrase "Let love roll down like waters and karma like an ever-flowing stream"
I have an extra two-person tent I will donate to someone that needs it. It's older and has a few small holes (patched with duct tape), but is definitely useable. Danbird borrowed it last year.... if it's good enough for an inforoo mod, it's good enough for anyone!
Also, I need to remove my earlier offer of the 2-person tent. I have decided to donate this tent to the flood relief effort for the homeless here in Nashville. But I will be happy to provide something else if needed.
Instead of dirt and poison, we have rather chosen to fill our hives with honey and wax; thus furnishing mankind with the two noblest of things, which are sweetness and light.
please keep this thread current. not sure of my exact arrangements i.e. how many in my vehicle, which vehicle, etc. so even our stuff may be a struggle. but will be glad to help if I can.

could anyone let me borrow a tent? my brother lost mine when he went camping a couple months ago and i just now found out about it.
i only need room for 1 person, and i will greatly appreciate it. if you could meet me in manchester wednesday night at midnight or one am i'd throw you some money for gas.
you'd seriously save my life, my bonnaroo spending money supply is already lower than i'd like it to be.
Me and my buddy are coming in from PA on Greyhound. We're 20 and if someone wants to bring in some whiskey/rum/alcohol for us that'd be awesome! I'd bring my own but don't want some greyhound employee taking it/my bus ticket. I'll pay for the bottle+5 or 10 bucks for doing it. We'll be in Tent Only arriving around noon on Thursday.

I won't bring in Alcohol for minors, that's a ticket I don't want to experience again. I will say this though - Greyhound doesn't check leno. Put it in the bottom of your bag and don't go pulling it out on the bus or telling other people you have it. No problems.

Once I get back home to the Up let me see if I can find my old single person tent. How tall are you, its actually a 6x6 two child tend but I've slept in it many times with my 80 pound dog.
If anyone needs water, or other cumbersome items let me know and I should have room to bring stuff down.
ill have one with me at my camp, its kind of iffy though so im hoping itll get me through one more trip before replacing it. i think theyre only like $10 at wally world though
