I grew up worshipping Rock and Roll like a religion. I know its shortcomings and strengths but have loved it unconditionally all the same since I was eight-years old. I ran away and joined the circus and honestly, I'm still as obsessed as I was as a boy. I'm not a kid anymore but I still remember how it felt and it doesn't really feel all that different to me now.
The "chin" sucks so bad. He is not funny at all. Remember when the writers went on strike? Letterman paid his writers to stay put...think tightwad Leno would?
Hell NO!!!!!
The way he did Conan was horrible and i never thought I would say I was cheering for Jimmy Kimmel when he threw The Chin under the bus and told him "retire already!"

Oh come on. It's so fashionable to hate on Jay Leno, but he's up there every night giving it his all, with new material. Conan's show wasn't doing poorly, NBC's affiliate stations had seen a drop in their 11PM ET newscasts as a result of the new configuration.
2/5- Papadosio 3/3- MUSE 3/12- John Mayer 3/19- The Werks 3/31- Passion Pit 4/18- Ben Folds 4/20- Against Me! 6/10- Bonnaroo 6/30- Eric Clapton and Roger Daltrey

I can't understand how they could just get rid of Conan, If they were that confident in Jay Leno they should have kept him in his 10 o'clock spot at least for another season, despite low ratings. It's called standing by your product. You know they saved a lot of money by having one ten o'clock show. Look at all the sitcoms and game shows they had put out to replace him. Conan show wasn't bombing. What's the deal?? He got paid millions to walk and go on tour. NBC you got something wrong wit'ya. I don't even want to speculate what AC had to cough up to get Conan to come. What do you give a 40 million dollar man? I am just stoked for the show.

I really don't think this Bonnaroo thing is all about making massive amounts of money. After Max and Jimmy came down here and stayed for a couple of days, I think he gets it. Hell, he's curating the damn thing lol.

+1 for Bill Hicks reference. I loved that man. "...Everything you say is suspect, and every word that comes out of your mouth is now like a turd falling in to my drink. Kerblump-ploosh"
AC probably used the money they were supposed to use to get another good headliner to get Conan. All they had left was a ham sandwhich, a gift certificate to Urban Outfitters, and some boots, so they had just enough for Kings of Leon.
