LouFest is a grassroots, 2-day music festival in Forest Park, MO that will celebrate the spirit of St Louis. It will feature 18 bands from a range of genres--including rock, pop, folk, country, and alt country. There will be a headliner each night along with the hottest established and emerging artists on the national and local scene.
The festival will feature 2 stages running back to back, food and drinks from area merchants, a Kids Village for kids (and kids at heart), and an EcoZone to promote conservation, recycling and clean energy.

I don't know if I'll be able to make this one, but I think it's awesome that St. Louis is getting more into the festival scene. And using Forest Park as a venue is a great idea. Has anyone ever made it to any of the Live on Levee shows? I've always meant to go. They haven't announced the line up for them yet this year.

The Live on the Levee shows are GREAT!!! I have seen sooooo many great acts for FREE because of this. STS9/UM, Grace Potter/Blcak Crowes, O.A.R., Blues Traveler, LIttle Feat/Madahoochi, Col. Bruce Hampton.......
