Any other Hockey fans out there? Montreal is going crazy tonight coming back from DC with the series tied.... it is fucking loud in the Centre Bell ce soir. Go Habs Go!
Nashville Preds fan here. We have lost 2 games by shutout, but we also won our first playoff game on the road at Chicago. The Preds WILL make it past the first round for the first time in franchise history this year.

Fight being the operative word for the Sabres!!! Chara probably should've opted to keep his face mask on for the rest of the series because he's not done fighting yet!

Go Blackhawks! The Preds had me a worried there in game 5. The Preds have done a good job in the neutral zone and a good job creating turnovers. If the Hawks keep playing like that, they'll be out in round 2.
Too bad about your Preds, but the Hawks vs. Canucks series should be great
Yes it will, as a hawks fan I hope they can repeat last years result. two of the top three scoring teams in the NHL, but the canucks have an advantage in goal with Luonga. Ill pick the hawks in 7, despite the inconsistent play from Niemi.
BTW, how about Halak last night. That was the best performance Ive seen all year.

I watch a lot of hockey and I have never seen a goaltending performance like that before, that was absolutely amazing. I can't wait for the game tomorrow night.

^^Don't give it to the bruins just yet, but with all of Philly's injuries i dont see them pulling off the miracle. Anyway you beat me to bumping the thread by about 20 minutes. Pumped about the Hawks moving on. I will admit after round 1 I was really worried about Vancouver, and thought that their goalie advantage would shift the series. I like the Hawks chances against San Jose, especially with the way they are playing on the road.
Maki, good luck against the Pens tonight. For what its worth I'm a bandwagon Habs fan (for tonight at least)
Cheers for the good luck...I can hardly wait until 7, nor can most of the city. In fact they sold out the Bell Centre in 1 hour yesterday to watch the game on the HD scoreboard and they are closing off Ste Catherine st. (main drag downtown) tonight for the game. Last game ever in Mellon Arena tonight!
I'm looking forward to the Sharks vs. Hawks series...it's going to be great. I'm cheering for the Hawks in that one.
