so i'm 15 and i will be going to my second bonnaroo this year with my dad. laster year was awesome but this was our travel situation. we left Tampa Wednesday spent the night in Chattanooga left early Thursday morning and got in line at probably like 9am or something like i dont really remember we were in line for about 5 hours( it pissed me off then but im ready for it) . as last year was my first roo i didnt know what to expect or anyhting it was shook so at the time bonnaroo wasnt exactly the best time at first but as we saw al green and jimmy it got better to summerize i like bonnaroo and had a great time.
****BUT HERES THE THING**** this year i am even more excited because i like the line-up and know what to expect. the problem is... the last day of school is Thursday June 10th i know it sucks and i cant skip finals... so my dad it going to pick me up at school at around 11 or 12 and we are driving straight to bonnaroo i expect to get to Tennessee at around midnight or so. we are staying in an rv but our freinds are renting it. we wont be getting there at the same time.
SO MY QUESTIONS ARE----- 1. if we get there at midnight how long will the wait line be at the I-24 exit/entrance 2. where do you think we will be (BFE???) 3. how do we get to our rv (walk with our stuff) will we be able to get to the rv section??
thats all would love to here from some people !!!!! cant wait though
my guess is that you can park in day parking and walk up with your stuff. i also wonder if you wouldnt be able to move your car to rv later??? anyone know if you can move your car from day parking into rv?
no i cant take it early unfourtionately my school district is really strict and they wouldnt let me do that but i think we could ask to like to go park by the rv parking area and the walk our stuff
I don't think you'll have to wait as long as you did the year before. If you're worried about moving all of your stuff to the RV, you could take one of the bonnaroo taxis, or you could bring a wagon, or wheelbarrow like people who move to tent only and just haul your stuff. You may be parked out in the boonies, but its a crapshoot like every other time of the day on thursday. And if you are, no big deal since you're leaving your spot. You will definitely be able to get to the RV section; its not like VIP. Instead of getting worried about being late just enjoy the time in the car with your dad. Hope this helps
That's good, cause you need to work on your spelling, buddy. Good luck! Buena suerte! Just to be sure, see if you can work it out with your teacher to take it early if at all possible. It'll make things less hectic the day you leave. It's worth a shot.
