So is that calmoseptine preventative or what you use when you're already chafin?
you could use it as prevention, and it would work well...although it has a rather pasty consistency almost like diaper rash ointment.
but if you do happen to get chafed, its a great thing to have. I'll bring a bunch of it in my firstaid box....if anyone gets really badly chafed hit me up for some and I'll give you a packet, that is until I run out. I get samples mailed to me periodically with one of my professional journals so I have a little pile of them.

From being a father, if you're already chafed and are looking for a miracle....that miracle is called aquaphor. Basically, it's like vaseline but seems to have some magical ingredient that cures all surface injuries. It's made for diaper rashes but you can literally use it for everything.

aquaphor is really good too. it has a different consistency and is almost like vaseline. I use it for cracked heels from wearing flipflops and going barefoot all the time.
Best thing I did for chafing was to have the mole removed from my inner thigh. I know that won't apply to everyone, but if you have a mole in that area, visit your friendly neighborhood dermatologist and get it gone now while you still have time to heal before the festival.
That tiny little bugger caused me a lot of pain my first two Bonnaroos. Was never a problem except at Bonnaroo.

I used myself as a guinea pig this year, took gold bond, bodyglide, bike shorts, and heat-wicking boxer briefs. The best combination, hands-down, was bodyglide+bike shorts. No hint of chafing whatsoever. I'm just glad I brought 4 pairs of bike shorts.

Monistat gel on the face? I was skeptical but read up on it in some makeup websites. I can just see the discoverer of that combination at work....."This stuff works wonders keeping my va-jay happy and dry....imagine what it can do for my eye makeup!" Interesting how well it seems to work per the reviews.
