It was really nice out this past weekend, so I got the tent out for the annual seam sealing - a must no matter how great you think your tent is.
While I was doing this, my cat jumped on the tent and left 2 little pin-sized holes in a nylon panel with her claws. She was immediately put inside, and I covered those holes with seem sealer. Is this going to be enough? I thought I had some waterproofing spray around somewhere, too, but I can't find it. Any suggestions on how to make that new weak spot, not so weak?
No idea but I thought you'd appreciate that we put our first layer of water proofing on yesterday. Sorry the cat pulled a fast one, have you considered duct tape from the inside? Or a patch kit like this

I would def use a patch kit. The tiny whole filled with seam sealer could easily break down in a hard rain.
Last year, I seam sealed my trusty coleman tent. It leaked one night and I have never found a hole. I even used spray on water proofer as well. So the hole doesn't have to be very big to ruin your sleep.
