I get so jealous seeing the Bloomington thread, I had to start a new one I could be a part of. Coming from Fort Wayne. Leaving around midnight, Wed night/Thur morn. Coming through capital city around 2, maybe. Possible caravan, anyone? Bloomies welcome in my thread.

Yep heading down as early as possible on Wednesday, might have to stop by the airport in Nashville and pick up my friend Jordan. He's flying in from Denver and riding back to Bloomington with us, and he's getting in Nashville at like 5:30pm on Wednesday.. so if he wanted to take a shuttle to Bonnaroo he would have to stay in Nashville overnight and then pay $60 for a round-trip shuttle ride that he was only going to use half of. So hopefully we can leave by early afternoon on Wednesday and pick him up at the airport.

I'll be set to go whenever that day. My friend, Cole, will be traveling in my car so we'll have to work something out with him to make sure he's here from Indy on time. Or we could just meet up at Walmart sometime Wednesday evening. But hell, Hangout is first. I can't multitask festivals.

Is the Walmart east or west of the fest grounds? We always go to the Murfreeboros walmart, out of necessity. After that,I'm kinda used to going SE on 24 to the exit way past the site then taking the backroads in, as directed. I know kinda where we'll end up in GA that way. I've always thought about coming in from the other direction on 24, but I don't know where we'll end up camping. Either of you guys have any experience coming in this way?

I've been to roo twice. The first time we came in the main exit (112 or something close to that) but I don't remember what time we got there. We were maybe ten minutes from Centeroo.
Last year we went in the same exit you did (127) and got put out way in the NE corner of the farm.
The main advantage taking the backroad in is that you can get out of your car without getting hassled by the popo. I heard the cops were quite a bit stricter this past year on staying inside the vehicle while on the highway.
In 04, on the highway, it was a party. People were out on the grass throwing frisbees and drinking beer.
