I saw no thread for it so I figured I'd post it first...
Ozzfest will return as a touring festival this summer, it was announced on Friday (April 30), with Ozzy Osbourne and Mötley Crüe headlining, according to a statement on the festival's official site. The tour will mark the first time the two bands have toured together since 1984, during the Crüe's breakthrough appearance as Ozzy's opening act on a major U.S. tour.
Ozzfest, which took a year off in 2009 and was a one-day event headlined by Ozzy and Metallica in 2008, will kick off August 14 in San Bernardino, California (the birthplace of the first Ozzfest in 1996), and then make stops in Chicago; Hartford, Connecticut; Camden, New Jersey; Pittsburgh; and Boston. Live Nation will promote the tour nationally.
The main stage will feature full sets from Ozzy, the Crüe and Rob Halford, the latter performing songs from his solo career along with material from Judas Priest and Fight. DevilDriver and Nonpoint will fill out the main stage lineup. Second-stage headliners and six-time Ozzfest veterans Black Label Society will be joined by Drowning Pool, Kingdom of Sorrow, Goatwhore, Skeletonwitch, Saviours and Kataklysm.
Each date on the tour will include 13 bands on two stages with music beginning at 1:00 p.m., according to the statement. There will also be a "Village of the Damned," featuring interactive activities, shopping and entertainment throughout the venue concourses.
Ozzy will release a new album, Scream, on June 15.
Tickets for the shows will go on sale May 22 at OZZfest.com and LiveNation.com.
Ozzfest 2010 dates, according to the festival's website:

They're going to lose their ass on this "festival". The thread seems so out of place, maybe it's just me.
Never said I was going...I just posted it in case someone wanted to go mate.
I do think they will do just fine with ticket sales. Lots of Ozzy/Sabbath fans still out there and Motley Crue will help as well. The lineup itslef is kinda "just ok" to me (although Black Label Society and Nonpoint additions were pretty solid imo).

I went around '99-'01. Seems like the lineup was more solid back then. Also seemed like there were more acts back then too. I love Ozzy/Sabbath and will always be a fan, but I won't be going to this even though it comes right through my back yard.

Last year I went was 97-Lineup: Powerman 5000, Fear Factory, Type O Negative, Pantera, Marilyn Manson, Ozzy, and finally...Black Sabbath. There was a second stage but I never even thought about leaving the main stage.
I think it is a good idea for them to have more than one show though.

I went from 98-05. They stopped touring in my area and if they were coming this summer I would skip out on it. The only thing I like is moteley crue who are now washed up, devildriver and goatwhore but I wouldn't pay 60+ bucls or whatever for them when I seen them a few months ago for 15 together.

I went in 98, and 00-06. Hands down the best years were 04-05. 04 Had Sabbath, Judas Priest, and Slayer headlining while 05 had Sabbath and Iron f'ing Maiden. IMO, this year's lineup is overall pretty weak. Drowning Pool? Nonpoint? seriously? Kataklysm is the shit however.

Yeah I was had pit tickets the year Blck Sabbath, Judas Priest, and Slayer were on it. That was definetly a good year. Also went twice the year Maiden was on. I was there at the show when Sharon had the power turned off on Maiden and had people throwing eggs at them for talkind bad about Ozzy the whole tour. This year it is Mayhem or bust.
I went in 2006...Disturbed, Black Label Society, and Ozzy were cool....but System of a Down quackin killed it
That was my last Ozzfest too, a kickass day overall, but that System set closing it out on Randall's Island remains one of my all time greatest live music experiences ever. Thanks for reminding me, I scored free tickets, and I am so glad I went to that, I get chills remembering, it was so good.
When I heard about Ozzy's new album dropping in June, I was really hoping for an Ozzy solo tour this summer, I wouldn't even mind if the Crue was opening, it would give me a great excuse to finally see a party band I loved when I was 10-15, but alas, Ozzy only does solo tours in the wintertime
The Comcast in Hartford is a great place to see a show though, tailgate heaven, plus two party hotels in walking distance. I really wish this lineup was worth a roadtrip to me.
But you know what I REALLY wish? That I could go back to 1984 and see the Crue open for Ozzy back in the DAY. Now THAT was some BAD-ASS sh*t!
