In preparation for XC in the fall, I'm gonna be looking to get some base mileage over the summer. Does anyone here want to join me for some early morning runs? Due to the heat, I'll probably be running reduced mileage, but I still want to do some running.
i've been running about 3 miles every other day, doing the couch to 5k app on my ipod and just finished week 4...i would love to continue while im at 'roo, but friday would be the only day i would need to run
How far at what pace? I try and get in a total of 12 miles from Thursday - Sunday at ~6:45 pace. I'm normally not one for running with someone, but I might like to try it at Roo.
I play soccer all the time and my legs are never more sore than after walking around Bonnaroo for 4 days. Trust me, you're going to get a great work-out regardless of whether you do morning runs.
I did see a group of a few folks go jogging by once or twice last year.
If I see you out for a run I'll toss you a juice pack or water - or a beer if you prefer!
