I've not weighed in on this in a few threads because I fear giving away what I have done the 2 Bonnaroo's to get a 10 minute walk to Centeroo each time.
We showed up in '06 and got a hotel, got up at 8 AM and hopped in the line from wal-mart. I believe that takes us in through Exit 111 to Bushy Branch. We try not to be obnoxious to people trying to squeeze in line but are firm about not getting stuck not moving.
We did something similar last year sans hotel. We slept occasionally in Wal-Mart's lot and headed towards the gates around 7:30 or 8 AM. Once in line it took us about an hour to get through the gates and into camp. Like I said it was about a 10 - 15 minute walk into Centeroo.
