With the oil spill in the gulf of Mexico, and gas prices already hovering around 3 dollars a gallon for the cheap stuff here is anyone else concerned what the gas price is going to look like in June?
This happened to us in 2008. Had tickets to the farm and sold them last minute because we couldn't afford the gas.
Well, the oil spill in the Gulf Coast actually has nothing to do with the oil we use in our cars and homes. It wasn't an oil refinery, they were just doing exploratory mining.... so if BP decides to raise gas prices, it'll have nothing to do with what happened, it'll just be them trying to turn a profit from of one of the worst environmental disasters in US history. But that shouldn't come as a huge surprise, given the questionable ethics of oil companies to begin with. So... yeah.

I'm not worried too much about it. I paid nearly $3/gallon yesterday for 87 octane. I'm more worried about driving to Hangout in a week. It's going to cost nearly $200 round trip. That's a good portion of my party favor money.

We're at nearly $3 a gallon now and I expect it to go up. That being said considering how much I spend on beer for the weekend I can't bitch too much about the gas.
