I have become friends with a promoter and manager of a venue in atlanta over the last few months and I was at a show on Friday talking with him about upcoming shows he told me Sufjan Stevens is coming to Atlanta in September/October working on the details and they are figuring out the venue for Arcade fire to play. I don't know the extent of there tours what cities I just know they are coming to atlanta on tour in the fall/late summer. All I'm trying to do is spread the good info I was given that I trust fully because he has been in the business for over 30 years and he is the guy who promotes and books these shows. Just thought you guys would like to know that they are going to tour

word from the promoter is sufjan doesn't like to play big venues thats why he doesn't do festivals, he will be playing 2500 seaters and less, however arcade fire hasn't decided between either a 7,000 seat venue or a 12,000 seat venue as of now.
Looks like the Arcade Fire will be on August 11 at the Verizon Amphitheater (or whatever it's called) with Spoon. I'm sad that it's in the middle of the week
told you guys i was telling the truth, I know the promoter and manager of a great venue in atlanta he is promoting this show and many other shows we go to. He is also friends with Ashley capps so I am going to dig at him to get bonnaroo info for next year who is in the works and what we should expect.

sufjan played the fox theatre last time he was in atlanta, This time he is playing the Tabernacle and its in November. Tickets will sell out because last time he played fox it was 4300 tickets sold, tabernacle only sells 2500 tickets. Sufjan hates big venues that why we will never see him at a festival. He has major stage fright and is not a rockstar at all. He gets super nervous from what I was told from the promoter who is promoting the upcoming show at tabernacle.

told everybody I wasn't lying and only trying to spread the good info, how bout arcade fire they are only playing a few dates in the US so far and I told u Atlanta would be one of them before the tour was annouced so start having a little faith in me the next time i come to this board with some info on who might be playing where and when.
