I am thinking about taking the trip on my own as well. I live in the northern part of Iowa. Would you be able to make it down here and then we could take off? How far into MN to you live?

im in the Chicago suburbs, and have room for one in my truck.... this is my 7th year to the farm....we are leaving wed night... im following another friend and his girlfriend down there....
cincinnati is actually right along our travel path
also: i dont know how much time you have blocked off to travel, but there are a couple of buses on tuesday from chicago to ann arbor, on megabus, which are only about 3-5 bucks a person...just another option.
