So it's not camping and you have to buy admission every day (its only $10-15 tho) but this lineup is reeeeally stackin up to be somethin special
the whole lineups not out yet but these are just a few noteworthy names coming to the worlds biggest music fest
in no particular order
kool and the gang, tokyo police club, passion pit, the wailers, tom petty & the heartbreakers w/ zztop (fuckin right!), 311, jeff beck, public enemy, think floyd, thievery corp, cage the elephant, uriah heep, less than jake, bb king, robert randolph and the family band, del mccoury, eric clapton w/ roger daltrey, blue oyster cult, sts9, cypress hill, wierd al, .38 special, umphreys mcgee, moody blues, darkstar orchestra, war, santana w/ steve winwood, OAR, the offspring, b52s, joan jett, the roots, n.e.r.d, YES, slightly stoopid, rush, mosest mouse, counting crows, peter frampton, LEVON HELM, katzenjammer (twice), devo, against me, silversun pickups, average white band, steel pulse

Summerfest is a blast. Growing up not to far from there i have seen many shows at this festival, in fact my first concert was at summerfest. Right on lake Michigan. Many of the days there are local promotions going on in which you can score free tickets.
