I have a 60 qt/90 can cooler and I am wondering if that will be big enough to hold beer, water, and ice to get me through the weekend. Probably won't spend much time at the campsite, but I just don't know. I am sure I will be sharing too. Thoughts?

As much as I can stuff into the car, I usually end up opening a few cases up, putting the cans in-between stuff in nooks and crannies all over the place. I'm the guy who brings two 30-packs to a four person party and worries about running out.
I usually take two cases for myself, but I'm a confirmed alchy. I like nothing better than a good beer buzz early in the morning. Then depending on the crowd I'm with I get another case or two.
I always take at least two beers with me on the way to centeroo, one to drink on the way and one to drink while waiting for people in front of me to get searched.
That being said though. I also take two cases of water for myself as well. You DO NOT want to get dehydrated and don't get too drunk that you miss out on what you want to see.
I also like to share my beer, especially with the multitude of scantily clad women that walk by.
2 cases per guy has worked in the past. I don't mind having extra beer at the end of the festival. Then we also each have a bottle of booze that we pour into empty pepsi 2 liter bottles (no glass) to switch things up. Works out well.

I'm a drinker, especially at Bonnaroo. I always bring two 24 ct cases of cheap beer for me, along with 12 or so "good" beers. I don't always drink all of it; often I give quite a few away to folks in need. Ice down what you can before you get in, then try to limit it to one bag of ice per day to chill what you'll be enjoying that day. Ice can get a bit pricey if you're trying to keep a whole lot of stuff cold ($6 for a small, half-melted bag I think).
I bring three cases, one yuengling, one pbr, one miller lite, plus 12 good beers. I have no problem giving beers away, and like to wake up and have 3 or 4 before heading into centeroo. Normally the early morning buzz wears off pretty quick with the heat, and i'm constantly drinking water so it's nothing too painful. Always take two beers for the walk in as well.
It's way better to have too much than too little; if you don't drink it bring it home and enjoy with your memories.

i remember paying $3.50 for small bags of ice from the trailers.
that being said, i will be bringing 3 cases (2 pbr and 1 yuengling).

I think we brought a case of fat tire and a half case of tecate last year. I still have a couple of those Tecates in the fridge. I'll probably take two cases this year as my alcohol consumption has steadily increased over the past year.

I think you're right about the ice. I just know that by Saturday the ice bags don't seem worth the cost as the coolers aren't keeping it totally frozen.

Canned fat tire?
It would have to be. There were negative reactions when the made the no-glass rule in 2004. I think we can all agree that it's a good thing.

It does exist it's just a matter of whether it's in your state yet or not. I'm in NC and neither NC or SC has it in cans but I know it can be found in TN.

It's available in Knoxville, but only at certain locations. The Kroger at Northshore Drive and Pellissippi Parkway carries it if you're coming through town...

I usually bring 2 cases for four people, and bring lot more water and gatorade than beer. If I run out of beer, paying $3 - $5 for a beer in centeroo doesn't hurt near as bad as paying $3 for a bottle of water.

I'm bringing 2 cases (48 cans). Most likely Budweiser, Yuengling, or PBR (nothing too too heavy). And then I always grab a quality brew or two once inside Centeroo. There's only two of us going for my group. This allows for plenty for the two of us and plenty to offer to neighbors and good friends we meet throughout the weekend.
On a side note I advise drinking AT LEAST the equivalent of 12 ounces of water for every 12 ounces of beer consumed, ESPECIALLY while the sun is still out. Remember this is a marathon weekend, and NOT a sprint race. Getting drunk is fun and all but NOT when you jeopardize seeing the acts you want to see. Music goes from 11:30 AM til 5-6 AM the following morning. There is nothing worse than passing out due to inebriation and lack of hydration and missing the acts that you paid good money to see!!!!
EDIT: Tis better to be properly hydrated and visit the oh so clean porto-pottys more often than anticipated than to get hammered drunk and pass out/wake up realizing that you missed one or more acts for the day/night that you really wanted to see

For me, over the coarse of the weekend, a case, an 18 pack and a bottle of liquor are enough. This combined with a case of water, with plenty of refilling, and probably a 12 pack of gatorade or something of the like.
Not drinking too much during the day is KEY at bonnaroo. I've been 3 times, and I love drinking beers in the morning (along with water). However, last year I went overboard and ended up blacking out in the middle of the day and woke up in my tent way late saturday night. Scary and shitty !

I can give a first hand vouch for this, LRH brings more bber and bubbles than anyone I know.
At my campsite, if I'm not sleeping I'm drinking a beer. I usually bring 18 regular beers and 12 good beers, but this year I'm thinking 36 PBR cans a little lquor, most likely vodka or tequilla.
