Ok. So I may or may not be of age and was wondering if they check ur car when u arrive? because from what I have seen people are saying that beer is ridiculously expensive and I dont want to pay a lot...

This has been answered several times elsewhere, but I looked and couldn't find the threads.
They do check your car, but they're looking for glass, weapons, etc. At no point have I ever heard of event security staff checking IDs at the gate. I was underage two years that I went and we had no trouble getting beer in. However, in TN it is illegal to possess alcohol if you are under 21. This could be a problem if by chance you ran into the fuzz on your way in.
Also, beer is insanely expensive inside, but I was carded by vendors several times last year. You're probably more likely to get carded purchasing the beer inside than you would be bringing in products that you obtained elsewhere.
My advice is to use your best judgement, but know that others have done it in the past with little difficulty.
