Hey Jay! It's "Gena". I wound up working 9-5 Sunday and it wasn't trash detail, like I feared. We did a little cleaning up and stacking of folding tables and chairs at the catering pavillion by the Amphitheater, were given the OK to drink leftover draft micro-brews, then broke down and loaded the mainstage canopy. I started home a little after 5, missed a turn, and drove around 53 miles before I realized I needed to turn around.
It was a great weekend, wish I hadn't lost my phone and we could've all got together with NTRT and his group. Thanks for taking me to the river. I'm gonna make a point of always getting down there when I'm at the park from now on. Now figure out how to post those pics. It's not too hard. Something may have gone wrong with my camera, because my notebook isn't recognizing any pics on my memory card. :-(
Wish I could have met you and Jenna, Jay, but Dale lost his phone right about when we were going to meet.
Hope you found all your stuff on Sunday, Dale. It was fun hanging out with you all weekend.
Yep found my key in the back of the truck, then my phone in front after Jay called it the 3rd or 4th time, buried in my pocket under a pile of clothes. Let's all do this again in November. I'd like to do MagFest, but I've got a pretty full fest schedule already. :-)

I was pretty surprised that mofro has a new bass player, a new keyboard player, two horns, and your mind. Not very nice of him to do that without asking you first.
What a great little festival this turned out to be. I'm glad I decided to go. Good to see you, Dale and Jay. Maybe if Dale had been a bit more responsible with his phone, I could have met NTRT too. Next year we need to get a big crew together for this and rage it proper!
HELLO EVERYONE!! I know I'm late but I just found this site and I loveeee it I WENT TO MY FIRST FESTIVAL....AND IT WAS BLACKWATER!! Time of my lifeeeee hands down, Best time of my life I meet some freakin awesome souls!! I'm now a festival junky and I CAN NOT WAIT FOR BEARCREEK AND BONNROO!! wake up and RAGEEEE!!! <3 <3 <3
heard from my friend how great this festy was. she actually described it as the best she's ever been to. Seriously regretting that I didn't go.
It was great, but in my opinion, not even the best at Spirit of the Suwannee. (The fest itself, not the campground experience and friends who were at this fest, those two things were the best at SOTS for me.) But the best fest at SOTS, other than maybe Wanee would be Bear Creek, coming up in November. I've been every year, and it's gotten better each year, so don't miss it if you can help it. Actually it has Wanee beat, because it's much longer and I prefer the cooler weather.

Yeah, and next year I'm gonna make sure everyone has each other's numbers, cause keeping up with keys and phones is always my top priority, yet sometimes biggest failure, when I'm raging the way I try to down there, and most other fests too, for that matter. But in spite of that, it was the best group experiences I've had down there in six trips, and bound to get better, once we get more of us down there together.
