Another amazing festival coming to the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park. August 26-28.
Looks like a solid lineup with more to be added and a decent ticket price as well. Early bird through June 20th for $125 Advanced $160 Gate $175.

The Lee Boys were amazing to me on 08 at Roo. Roosevelt Collier is one of the finest steel guitar players around. Period. A chance to see him play again would be worth the trip imo.

Hells yeah, from what I hear it is put on by the same guys who do Bear Creek, which is also a sick festival. I am coming from Gainesville, which is about an hour away. I have been to nearly 40 shows at this venue dating back to the HORDE in 1996 and I got to say it is one of the best venues in the country if it isn't the best.
delysid, Gainesville here as well bro. I am thinking about this festival as well, which means I will go, unless something changes and I go to Burning Man.

I will greatly enjoy seeing Michael Franti and G. Love on the river. This lineup seems a little funkier than Wanee. I wouldn't call it "a dream" but looks pretty solid so far. That fest will be worth the ticket price just because of the location! Having that river to cool off in is worth every penny!
What's the story with LN sets at this venue? Is there some kind of curfew\sound ordinance?
The latenite stages don't run much later than around 2 a.m. at the fests I've been to there, if memory serves. But the latenite campground jams went until at least 4:30 at the last Bear Creek.

Good lineup. I love Slightly Stoopid, Franti, STS9, Mofro, G. Love, Disco Biscuits & Galactic. Galactic put on a killer show at Bonnaroo a few years ago. Would love to see them again. Should be an awesome venue in FL too.

I found out today that I'll be working pre-fest Site OPs with W.E.T. This means I'll be working Wednesday and Thursday, so I'll be finished working before the shows start. I am now officially back in Full Festival Mode. Blackwater > Camp Reggae > ?

So stoked for Blackwater only a couple days away and i find myself in a bit of a problem, my intial ride isnt going anymore something came up, and i am stuck with out a way to get to Blackwater, Chill music lover free spirit willing to split cost and good vibes for the ride if anyone is going from south florida and has room for one more please let me know whats good!!!!!!!

I'll be there in teh morning to start my first pre-fest shift. If anyone's interested in joining Camp InfoBlackwater, PM me. I'm gonna grab a good spot tomorrow and save some space. It'll be easy to get to, conveniently located, and I can text directions to you when you get there.

My schedule's changed. Now I don't have a shift til Friday. I'm working 9:45-3 on Friday and 9-9 post-fest Sunday. And apparently I can't go in til Thurs. morning just like the little people.

I'm pretty sure you can go in early, you just have to pay a little xtra to camp for a night.

Where in Florida are you? I've been on the fence about going to this, but I think I've finally decided to go. I'll be leaving from Naples tomorrow afternoon.
