Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
But I am now even more excited for Roo then ever before. Why you ask? Well...............................
I was just standing in the parking lot outside Sports Authority and Barnes and Noble. I had just left one and was headed to my car to drop off the packages and then go get some books. The woman in the car next to me bought a tarp and some other camping related items. One of the employees at Sports Authority was helping her load her car when I heard her say "Well, I hope she likes it... Shes going away next weekend with all her friends, to that concert, oh you know, Bonnaroo or something." I smiled and while still loading my trunk, let out a "BONNAROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" The woman was confused so I explained that I was going also and I am friggen excited. She then asked me some questions about it, apparently her daughter is going and she is rather nervous about it. A big concern of hers was whether or not there are any Druqs at Roo, which I truthfully answered "Ma'am, there are no Druqs at Roo."
Sorry I had to share this with all of you, im just so damn excited.

My parents are worried too. I guess because the only way I could try to get them to visualize it was saying it was along the lines of woodstock, and it all went downhill from there, ha. but, i'm still going, so everything's peachy!

Yeah, I'm not sure which my dad is more concerned about.....me going to Bonnaroo, or me actually ARRIVING in one piece at Bonnaroo! I'm the one actually driving the RV....and he knows how I drive.... ;D
My mom bought me a cell phone for my birthday the last time I went to Bonnaroo.
;D
But I don't think she worries about Bonnaroo, more about the fact that we leave in the middle of the night.
It's cool when you come across other folks in the area that are going. My boyfriend is a banker and one of his clients went to roo last year, but couldn't this year because of a new job. He asked him to show him pictures.
We treat mishaps like sinking ships and I know that I don't want to be out to drift Well I can see it in your eyes like I taste your lips and They both tell me that we're better than this

My dad was more concerned about the rental car than me. I was like gee, thanks. Who cares if I come back in one piece, as long as I return the rental on time and intact...

Yea, my folks are funny. They know what's up, and my Dad is always enthusiastic and asks me about who I'm going to see, etc. (even though he knows very few). But every year, my mom is like "when are you going to stop going to that damn festival?" Mind you, I"m 27 years old. The other night, I mentioned that I thought it might rain and I'd better get some extra rain gear and she gasped and said, "It's going to rain and you're still going? Call your friends and call it off. That's ridiculous." I guffawed.

I heard they cancel the festival if it starts raining. I mean, we'd all melt if they didn't, right?

We do Roo in the family way, too. My son was 17 when he went to Roo in 2005. He had such a great time with his friends that his dad and I went in 2006. We are all going back again this year. Every year my son's group has grown larger and people from all over that meet up. It is an amazing event. Can's wait to see you all there. Bonnnaaaarooo!!!

My mom is more worried about the drive to and from roo. She is aware of the festivities that take place and as long as I stay out of trouble, she does not mind.
well, you ask me why i'm drunk all the time it levels my head and eases my mind i just walk along and stroll and sing i see better days and i do better things

I went to a smoke shop today and my friend Natalie (who I'm heading down with) bought a box of papers. The owner asked why she was buying a whole box, and she said we were headed to Bonnaroo next week. The owner apparently had this lady walk into his shop yesterday and she asked him if he wanted to go with her because she had an extra ticket and she was a glass vendor. He wasn't sure about it, but after I told him all about it, he hopped on the phone and told the lady he wanted to go. So if you see someone on shakedown with a "Lite it Up" (that's his business' name) banner, stop in and see his wares.

It was so cool. His shop is pretty small now, but I told him he could make a killing at 'roo and then his shop could get better. I hope he does well, and his shop grows, because he's pretty a cool dude.

I am going on Monday. Hopefully I can do it without passing out. I hate being poked and I hate blood. I am also bringing my trumpet to play and see if anyone will throw some change in my case!

I will greatly appreciate the donation. If I don't wind up in Camp Inforoo, than I will at least be in the tent only area, probably right on shakedown. I'm really glad that I didn't just throw in the towel. I just needed some positive reinforcement and some very creative financing!
