I've been reading these boards and have seen that some people say they've gotten into the campgrounds Wednesday evening for previous Bonnaroos while other people say that it's not true. So, I'm trying to find out what the deal is with Wednesday entry and is it possible?
The only reason I ask is because it is actually cheaper flying down Wednesday instead of Thursday & so if I can get into the campgrounds Wednesday evening, then it would be well worth it to save a few bucks & fly in on Wednesday instead of Thursday.
I have also read the threads about this and have tried to get some concrete idea of when people are let in and from what I've read they do let people in on Wednesday night, but you're usually in BFE....
I'm curious about VIP. When do we get to go in? I can't seem to find much about that. If I remember correctly VIP doesn't get to go in until thursday morning. Does anyone have any info about this or experience from the past? I'm trying to decide if I should leave MI wednesday morning or evening. Thanks for any info:)

VIP Check In has started at 10 AM in the past, so after you are check in at the remote location you then drive over to the festival grounds.

Thanks for the info Bug512. Maybe I should drive through the night then..... I would be dead tired when the festival starts though.
yeah, i always do that drive from michigan starting at 8 or 9pm wednesday night. everyone's always so cranky in line until we get in, but then everyone is so excited they don't care about being tired.
