If you plan to use the water troughs to bathe and refill your water containers bring a garden hose or better yet a piece of cut off garden hose with the female connector. The water troughs have spigots with threads on them just like the one outside your house that you hook your garden hose to. It's practically impossible to get a large water container under the trough spigots and almost as impossible to get the water onto your body from the spigots. But if you bring a piece of garden hose simply screw the female connector onto the male spigot and it will make your stop at the water station so much easier. Plus you'll be very popular with all the people who didn't think to bring a hose.
I think my mom's gonna be mad at me if I cut her garden hose.
If you have $7 you don't have to

This reminds me, just borrow the hose that hooks your washing machine to the spigot. It's shorter and doesn't need to be cut. If you don't have a washing machine to borrow from the washing machine hose is cheaper than a garden hose and already short so no need to cut it.

Good timing, my girl and I were just talking about this the other day when she bought a hose for this purpose. Apparently I was a little confused as to what people were connecting to the troughs. Anyway speaking of which, she bought a length of hose from Walmart pretty similar to that pictured one if not bigger and I want to say it was cheaper than the $7, but I'm probably wrong again.
Thanks! That's a great idea! We were definitely planning on filling up some large jugs to use around the campsite, especially to wash our feet with. So thanks!
