I personally do not think that something that is on fire and can be knocked down is a wise idea. I would keep them for your backyard. Also, why would you be sitting around camp when there is so much to see and do at night ?
We brought about 8 tiki torches with us our first year ('06) and surrounded our RV site with them. They blazed all night every night and they set up a really cool ambiance for the late night camp festivities. Roo staff (at least back then) didn't give us any grief about them either.
That being said I have to agree with what everyone else here is saying, and why we never did it again- we got lucky but it was a definitely an accident waiting to happen. The ground is so hard that we could barely stake them in deep enough to be stable. Combine that with a dozen people stumbling about at 4am in various stages of consciousness it was a miracle we all lived to roo another day..

I've only taken them to VIP in 07. We had so much space that we separated our tents from our lounging space. The ones I have are wrought iron, so if I bring them again they'll be used for setting up shade walls with ropes and tarps, I won't even bother to bring fuel cannisters for them.
