Here is my basic setup for Bonnaroo. My shade structure is a Quonset Hut, "half-cylinder" shape structure. It is 30 feet by 10 feet, and about 7 feet tall. the first 15+' are for my F150. A tent will fit under here. I have carpet for it. Some chairs for sure and other items. This structure has survived a week in the High Nevada desert, sand and wind gust up to 60+MPH. My concerns, It this too long? Is it too constricting, no air flow from the side? (I have fixed this by adapting the sides to be able to be pulled up some,as seen in this last photo link)

Well, if it stood up to 60 mph gusts, I guess it's not as flimsy as it looks. Hopefully you'll be able to grab the space that you need before they park someone behind you because they're only gonna give you ten feet behind your truck.

If you can get space for it (maybe offer to let a neighbor use the shade if it seems like you're crowding them?) then it looks really cool. Just make sure (!!!) that it has ventilation. If not, it could get miserable under there. Make sure you can pull up BOTH sides when you need to (so you can get a breeze going through there). Also, in case it rains or something, I would make sure you can get them back down reasonably easily as well.
I can use this to cover my whole truck and have 10 feet of shade off the back. I have thought about, and will ask, community shade, letting my neighbors use it, which I can move the truck and open it up for others. Both sides will be able to lift up for some ventilation and have a quick release and a quick way to secure during a storm or when we go to Centeroo.
