Friday- Rage Against the Machine Late Night- Outkast Saturday- Rolling Stones or Zeppelin or someone huge classic rock Saturday Late night- Daft Punk Sunday- MMJ
Friday: Dispatch (Daft Punk Late Night What) Saturday: Neil Young & Crazy Horse / String Cheese Incident (Late Night Which) Sunday: My Morning Jacket
Other bands that I hope make an appearance: The Roots, Rage Against The Machine, Arcade Fire, Van Morrison, Crosby Stills & Nash, Allman Brothers Band, The Strokes, Bela Fleck & th Flecktones, Yonder Mountain String Band, Levon Helm Band.
I'd trade Rage for Dispatch also would love to see them there....or anywhere for that matter!
Dispatch is a stretch, but I think it would be a HUGE get and that they would rock. They fit perfectly, only do one-off performances, and would kick ass...I hope it happens.
If not Dispatch, then Rage, the Strokes or the White Stripes would be my next pick for that spot.

I have to sign this, would love to see MMJ headlining Bonnaroo. It would be fitting since they have thrown down so many times over the years and this is the tenth anniversary. If we can get MMJ and Radiohead at Roo next year I could die a happy man.
Wilco is another band ready to step up to headliner status. Their Roo sets of the past don't even come close to their recent 2.5 - 3.5 hour performances. And with Wilco on the farm you also have opportunities to schedule Nels Cline Singers, Jeff Tweedy solo, and all of the other side projects the band are involved in.
MMJ Friday + Radiohead Saturday + Wilco Sunday would totally rock my world.

O.A.R. has sold out MSG a few times (and not on a special event night like NYE) so should they headline Bonnaroo?
For a band who (other than a MSG show) doesn't play venues bigger then 4000 seats I don't quite understand why they would get a headliner spot at Bonnaroo.
Hell, they aren't even headlining Outside Lands (they are #3 on Saturday)

No, having a show at MSG on your resume does not entitle any old band to get a headlining gig. But that was a "special event" as you said, and MMJ was given that honor. They clearly have the fanbase and it shows how far they've come from playing during the afternoon at Bonnaroo in 2004. This, in addition to the posts about how bonnaroo and MMJ go hand-in-hand. MMJ has blown up, in part because of Bonnaroo. Jim James understands and appreciates that (see their epic 2008 performance). There's a reason no one is campaigning for OAR to headline Bonnaroo 2011. If you're still having trouble understanding, I'll break it down for you like this:
They're better than you, therefore they should headline.
John Mayer can fill any amphitheater in the country, and he closed the second stage at Rothbury 2008.
Phil Lesh & Friends have headlined Bonnaroo, and aren't (really) big enough to pack amphitheaters.
There are certain bands that are almost big enough to play large venues, but not quite, but are big enough in the fanbase of Bonnaroo to control a headlining spot. Phil Lesh & Friends and My Morning Jacket fall into this category. They played medium-sized venues, but are big enough and experienced enough to put on a headlining performance in front of 80,000 fans.
Not to mention that by their next album they might be big enough to headline. They're steadily growing bigger and bigger - they appeal to jam fans and the indie crowd.
