oh there's a lineup? okay i thought u just rush to the front at some point like an hour before. But what about if someone is playing at what stage before eminem? I'm just confused about exactly where we stand in line to get front row, sorry! This is my first time at Bonnaroo and i reallllly want to get front row to Eminem or MMJ.
Another question i had was, i'm a small girl, 5 feet tall. Okay maybe 4'10"! Is the pit safe or am i going to get trampled over completely?
Last year was my first Bonnaroo, but I managed to get front row for John Fogerty, and didn't even show up very early. Maybe 30 mins? Of course, headliners, are different, by the time I showed up for Fogerty, the line waiting for the pit for Dave Matthews was superrr long. It might be even longer for artists that are good.
Ouch low blow, John was fantastic though, I must say!

Well yazee there's such a large capacity at the What stage, that there is a gated of "pit area". Now you wait in line for entrance to this pit area, and you must exit after the show youa re seeing is finished. The line for this could be anywhere from practically no line at all (as it often is for artists earlier in the day) to incredibly massive for headliners.
I waited to get into the pit for Jay Z all through stevie wonder's set last year, but was positioned to where I could see his set fantastically. It was the hardest for me to get to the front, but it didn't really start until about 30 minutes before Stevie's set. Also, I walked into the pit for The Dead Weather, and Fogerty (who did blow me away), without a problem.

I just really really want to sing "Oh Sweet Nuthin" or "Loving Cup" very very loudly this year. Either of those would make my Friday complete. MMJ...Make it happen.

At this point they have waaaay to deep of a catalogue for me to want them to play covers. A perfect MMJ show for me would be playing all of "It Still Moves" all of "Z" 3/4 of "Evil Urges" 3/4 of "Circuital" and then probably another 8 songs on top of that.... hmmm that should fill up about 4 1/2 to 5 hours if they throw in some jams hahaha. I wish!

This is a good discussion topic. What covers do you guys think/want them to play this year? Even though they only have two hours, you know they'll do a couple. Have they ever played Bonnaroo and not played a few covers before?
I picked up Okonokos on vinyl yesterday. Love the different track order and extra tunes from the CD version. I wish I would have started collecting vinyl years ago as opposed to a few weeks ago, now I'm rebuying so many albums to have them on vinyl.
Record-collecting is an addiction for which I have no cure. I may not have money for food, but hey, at least I get me some sweet records every week. Welcome aboard!
Buying Okonokos on vinyl will be the best move you will ever make. "Strangulation" sounds so good I can't even fathom words to describe it.

I'd much rather pay 15 bucks for a vinyl album because of the detailed packaging (especially since I've got hundreds of CDs rotting, scratched, and spread out everywhere and I can just download everything on Pirate Bay), plus it gives you an entirely different take on the music.
I'd recommend picking up some LCD Soundsystem on vinyl if ya haven't yet. Odd Blood by Yeasayer sounds amazing as well.

Strangulation is on the vinyl? I bought the cd 5 years ago but never thought to replace it. Guess I should.

Yeah, you get a bonus side that has Sooner, Where It Begins, and Strangulation. Have to say my favorite side of the vinyl version is the one with Steam Engine and Dancefloors.
Also picked up a Black Uhuru album, 'Chill Out', I'm looking forward to their set.
Oh how I missed vinyl. My Dad is in radio and has been since about 1971 so we had thousands of vinyl growing up.

I do not watch House but it was on in the background and I said to myself "Hmm, that song sounds familiar." And it was Victory Dance, what do you know ?
