Really wish there was a date in Ohio but as it stands now I think I will be going to the MPP show. Would prefer to hit up the MSG show but its in the middle of the week so it would be harder for me to get off from work. Also really happy to see Spoon opening up! These are going to be some epic shows.
I really wish I could go to the ATL show for Spoon, but I already have a hearing set that afternoon. Damn damn damn the law. I'll settle for Nashville at the Ryman, though.
Shooting for Merriweather since it's on a Friday. Philly show's on a Monday. Maybe I'll do both. Seriously though, these guys are a must see live. They must be experienced to be fully appreciated.
Presale going on now via the Arcade Fire website. It's moving slowly though.
EDIT: After an entire HOUR of trying, I finally managed to secure two tickets. If the state of their website is any indication, the Ryman show will be a sell-out.
-When I Hear My Name -Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground -Blue Orchid -Passive Manipulation -Red Rain -Death Letter -My Doorbell -Hotel Yorba -Same Boy You've Always Known -Lovesick -Little Ghost -We're Going to Be Friends -The Hardest Button to Button -Black Math -The Nurse -I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself
Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver
Do we know if this means the pit or the lawn? It is very vague on the band website and I can't find anything on Ticketmaster yet. There are still some GA left on the site.
Just for some follow up to my previous post, I called the Box Office this morning. I was told all GA will be for the pit and they won't selling any lawn seats for this show.
Whats going on with the Merriweather show? It's not listed on the arcade fire site, merriweather page or ticketmaster... please tell me its not canceled. I just want to know when tix go on sale so I don't miss out.
EDIT: So it is on the official site.. just not arcadefire.net. That makes me feel much better.
Well I'm very sad I'm not on my way to the farm but I just found out that I will be seeing the Arcade Fire tonight. They are playing a "Surprise" show in a mall parking lot in Longueuil, Qc tonight. Longueuil is a suburb of Montreal about 20 mins away by metro.
