Que? you Say!
The Instrumental Workshop will be held at the Academy on SAT and SUN at 2pm. Stop by for some info on how to make a cigar box guitar, pvc percussion, circuit bending, etc.
friend us @ facebook.com/instrumental.workshop
We will also be set up permanently at POD 6 through the whole weekend.
WE NEED RE-Used/cycled materials to help make this happen. If you have any of the following please bring them by our pod, or email me and we can exchange info so I could take a golf cart to your camp and pick stuff up.
Old TELEPHONE Receivers (the microphone part can be wired into anything.) Cassette Tape players Old Guitar strings (Cigar Boxes have 3 strings, Nylon is best but any strings will work) Cigar Boxes (can be found in bulk at a Cigar store) Violin or Cello bows (we attach a length of audio tape then 'play' it across a tape head) Busted Guitar pedals (can be rewired) Magnets. (especially the really small ones) Auto Relay's ( the BIG square things in the fuse box next to the Engine, JUNK YARDS)
WHATEVERTHAHELL you think you could possibly make an instrument out of ! there are no limitations.
