can anyone that really knows give me an idea of where vendor camping is?
I am in guest camping but giving someone a ride that is working as a vendor. i'm trying to figure out if I'm going to be able to take her anywhere near the vendor camping or if I'm just going to have to drop her off at the walmart.

I was a vendor in 2004. Vendor camping was where VIP is now, but we did indeed camp in centeroo for the most part. We had a separated area in the back of our store where we had cots, coolers, air mattresses, etc..and pretty much just slept there when we closed down for the night/morning. Don't know where the actual vendor camping is this year, but you can indeed "camp" in centeroo if you'd like.
I think it will depend a lot on WHEN you arrive, whether or not you will be able to drop her off near the vendor camping. As far as I know they won't allow any cars in or out after 1 or 2 Wednesday afternoon because they have to prepare for the gates to open to the public. If you arrive earlier it may be possible. If I recall, last year there were vendor shuttles from the vendor check-in at the high school and from some of the area hotels. You may be able to drop her off somewhere she can get a shuttle rather than at the Walmart.
Unless you have a vendor car pass - they are going to park you. My suggestion - get there early and try to drop em off at the gate. They shut the gate down totally for a few hours before they open it up to the public
so, since the vendor passes come in pairs with one car pass... if the second person arrives in a second car without the car pass, are they going to be able to get that car into GA public areas for thursday morning to park or camp?
