A friend and I are attending Bonnaroo this year, as a graduation trip. The only thing is, Bonnaroo starts on Thursday, and our graduation is on Friday. I was wondering how difficult it will be to leave Bonnaroo after arriving? We need to be at our High School (it's in Western, NC) around 8AM, with normal driving conditions that would mean that we need to leave around 3AM to arrive on time.
How hard is it to leave once arriving, and if the drive would normally take 5 hours, how long do you think it would take for us to get back to NC, so we can graduate on time?
Thanks, -FloatOn
EDIT: If this isn't the correct forum to post, please let me know and I'll delete it and post it in another.
Anybody have any advice? Please share... I've emailed the Info@bonnaroo.com team, but I'm not sure if I'll receive a reply in time.. Once I get there, is there any possibility of leaving for a day and then coming back?
Guess the biggest deal is that when you get into GA camping, it's near impossible to get out. And if you get out, pack up your tent and all that crap and come back, who knows where you will be placed next time.
Do you have someone who could pick you up? That seems the only feesable option, if that is an option with Bonnaroo.
Your best bet is just come after graduation and miss Thursday.
Thanks guys. I emailed the info people, and they said I should be fine.. I'll see how bad it is when we get there, maybe I can negotiate with the traffic people to get a spot at the end?
Thanks for the advice about the tent and stuff, I was wondering about that, but didn't think to post. I want to be at both places at once, too bad I don't have a twin or clone :^/
