DO NOT FORGET YOUR TICKETS IN THE MIDST OF PACKING THINGS UP, GETTING READY TO LEAVE, OR MEETING SOMEONE TO RIDE WITH....I REPEAT, DO NOT FORGET YOUR TICKETS!!!!!!!!!!!!
I left our tix and cash sitting on the dining room table when we left for our 1st Roo in 08. Fortunately, I realized it before we reached the end of our street . . .
our friend carrying some of our gear in his truck (all our food, coolers, camp chairs, water) forgot his ticket this year. he had to wait in line at the manchester radio station for hours and meet us later at roo with all our stuff. we had a big group so we couldnt wait on him. yeah..... DONT FORGET YOUR TICKET!!!!!!!
Say hey johnny boy, the battle call United we stand, divided we fall Together we are what we can't be alone We came to this country you made it our home
My friend's husband threw away their Jazzfest tickets....luckily she works for the superdome and had the hookup for a new pair. That is grounds for divorce.
On another note: I read on someone's FB status that they had trouble finding a ride to Roo and still have their unused ticket sitting on their dresser. WTF?! Spread the wealth man, don't waste it. That made me sick to read.

my car broke 5 minutes from home tuesday before, so my stop over in SC got cancelled, its still broken in my drive way, my arse just about feels normal now after the hours on the treyhound...
In 06 (or maybe 05) I got about 1/2 hour from home before someone made a joke about forgetting their tickets. I groaned and turned the car around to go back because I HAD forgotten mine.
Side note: in 07 I got about a half hour away before I noticed that my trunk was still half open. Luckily, I didn't lose anything!

I did not forget my ticket, however my VW Bus caught on fire 40miles from the Farm this year, with half of our camping gear and money inside. Poor Lilly Love, how I loved her.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

Wow...sorry for the loss! Hope everyone was ok though.
