hope someone wants to play this.
it is kind of like word association but instead it is art association. the idea is to post a piece of your own art that you associate with or was inspired by the piece of art posted last.
this is a rainbow made out of different colored instances of the word "love"
Joan Miro was a contemporary of Picasso. The Dave Brubeck Quartet used one of his paintings as cover art and inspiration for their album "Time Further Out".
both Miro's and Brubeck's works are worth checking out

"i want to live there" by me
the city was alive with souls wanting to groove it tempting all in the sun to just simply lose it Bonnaroo, Bonnaroo, you don't have to prove it you are a beautiful thing and you are beautiful music
Sunlight filters through grapevine foliage then passes through colored glass and liquid (wine). These colors are all present in sunlight, but become visible as other wavelengths get filtered out by transparent materials. The glass carafes are made by Blenko, in Milton, WV. The wine is made and bottled where I work at a winery in Edinburg, VA. This is more a commercial art photograph for advertising purposes.

(in response to riburoo's awesome photo)
With which to fill my emptying heart? My mind wanders, out of where to start Anger for things I wish I'd said Envy for things I wish I'd had Or sadness for times that have now part Oh where and when to fill emptying heart? Like the sweetness of life Seeping through in its light Though muddled, and fuzzy, I know now what to do Fill my glass, up again, and then some more With love of a lass that I truly adore
