I hate when they do that in sports, I don't know if you follow hockey, a legendary coach and a great all around guy Pat Burns has been battling cancer for years, this year he was a lock for the hall and they didn't put him in...he died a few months later.

I was pretty upset about this as well and that fact that some bastard broke into his wife's car after the funeral and stole 30 signed jerseys that were for charity and a bunch of Pat's personal belongings.

This is the headliner speculation thread, please keep the discussion to that!
If you want to talk baseball, take it to the other tent....
Thanks!!!
**Raises Hand
Can you set up another tent solely for Baseball Lovers to talk about baseball? Then when they are all inside talking, we can pull the tent polls out of the ground, let the tent collapse, then proceed to beat the ball lovers (I mean that in a totally non-homosexual way) with a boat paddle while they crawl around looking for a way out?
All joking aside, I saw 3 new pages on this thread and though surely insider had posted something awesome, talk about disapointment. Im not asking for an apology, just hoping that insider reads this, fills with pity, and posts her inside info. Might I also add that my bunny rabbit just died, my dog got hit by a car last night, and sunday my mom told me the truth about santa? OK so maybe I didn't literally mean "All joking aside"...
Eric Clapton for Sunday night closer would be awesome, but i would rather Neil Young, as I saw EC in february.
Ideal Eric Clapton Bonnaroo concert: Hour 1: 6 or 7 long blues jams with a blues legend (maybe BB King) Hour 2: Eric Clapton leaves stages momentarily and returns with an acoustic guitar and a chair, and proceeds to play a full accoustic set Hour 3: Eric Clapton stands up, takes chair and acoustic guitar and leaves stage, returns with electric guitar, and plays another 30 to 40 minutes... Fireworks

The guests he would have on stage would be like closing Roo with a Super Jam! I'm all for this idea. Clapton (and basically whoever wants to hop on stage) to close Roo X!

Sounds like a great way to close Bonnaroo. If the way we get him is Sunday closer, I think it would be a perfect fit in that role.

i hadnt really considered it as a possibility before and still dont think its very likely. however the fact that his world tour, which only has US dates on the west coast, ends on June 11 is pretty peculiar...
