Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
There are a couple of sources out there saying that they will be at Coachella, so I can definitely see them starting their spring tour with Coachella and ending it with Bonnaroo, then taking a quick break before they head overseas.

This is my first post on this thread. Ever since tool captured my soul in 2007 , bonnaroo is one thing that i MAKE sure happens every year. The last 4 lineups have been like comparing oranges to apples. That being said i think a/c will go with atleast two famous faces. In my opinion that will be phish/wsp and mmj. Both have a history of stealing the stage (and faces). This leaves a TON of room for bands that no one on has even mentioned much. FUrhter is at the top of my wishlist with the crazy ideas of zep or pink floyd. Outkast would go down as one of the greatest shows ever if that could somehow happen. i think the headliner speculation is almost irrelevant, the lower tier acts are going to be amazing this year( just my opinion)

Furthur, Led Zeppelin, Pink Foyd, and Outkast? How has no one mentioned these bands yet? You're a visionary! But you're right about Phish, WSP, and MMJ having a history of stealing faces.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
The Who are apparently hitting the road in 2011. The Who would be fan quacking tastic. from wikipedia- "Most recently, Roger Daltrey has stated that they have acquired new equipment—earpieces and the like—that he and the band are learning to use to enable Townshend to perform. The Who are hoping to hit the road again in 2011, with "a new show," according to singer Roger Daltrey, or possibly a retooled stage presentation of the group's 1973 rock opera Quadrophenia.[58]

I think The Who are one of four possible rock headliners that could top the lineup. The other being Radiohead, U2 and Paul McCartney. Or something surprising and unlikely (Prince, Bowie, Zeppelin, etc.). I'm happy with The Who because I think the price tag would be less than Radiohead or U2. And, it seems both are not as likely as they once were.

That mentality is going to leave you extremely disappointed come February.

Well, no I am fine being underwhelmed. But, if there is rock at the top of the bill, I think one of those four would make sense. No one is saying Arcade Fire is #1 on the lineup. Someone with more popularity than them will be top billing. Thus, one of those four would make sense.
He has some serious hearing problems. Going deaf and some other problem, but he started working with Neil Young's audiologist who gave him some different earpieces. Supposedly it has helped enough that they are contemplating a tour.

Yes, Brandon Flowers is touring until right around Christmas. Then, they are getting back in the studio sometime in the spring. World tour for album is planned for late summer or early fall. But could easily be pushed back, probably not any sooner. So I don't see a festival happening at all. And the tour will probably start in Asia, so maybe 2012? I would love to see it.
And Dre into Phish on Sunday is interesting. I am not sure what to think of it.
Hows the Steve Miller Band doing these days? I think that would be a good classic rock headliner.
I saw them at a festival this summer, and they were incredible. He's a really under-rated guitar player and song writter. He's still very capable and the music is beautiful live. He/They is/are headlining Warren Haynes Christmas Jam thing in NC this year too.

Has anyone made note of the news article on COS that Pearl Jam is planning their own festy this summer? What are the chances that we get PJ again on the farm this year? Their setlists on the Backspacer tour have been amazing!

You think R.E.M would top the bill? I just don't think they would be ahead of Phish or Neil... I guess I'm really not that big of a fan but I don't really know that many people that really love them
Post by Mista Don't Play on Dec 10, 2010 16:17:24 GMT -5
I don't think they would be top billed either. I like the lineup though. I assume you meant Primus from 645-815. I don't expect Erykah Badu back so soon, but I wouldn't complain either, but I think that spot goes to someone else, preferably Alicia Keys or Lauryn Hill.

this would be outstanding!
made a few little tweaks, just for my own tastes...
then add in Reggie Watts, Torche, and Dax Riggs into the lower tier acts
