Heard (4th-hand news) that they're shooting for 12 hours of non-stop music on What on Saturday. 6 hours lead by 1 band and 6 hours lead by another band. Each band is encouraged to bring out a number of friends. 1 band has already agreed and they are trying to figure out who the 2nd band will be. I don't know if this is set up as a 3x3x3x3 or 6x6 or what. Or it could be 6 hours Friday and 6 on Saturday? Dunno.
Did anyone see the moe->grace potter->moe show last year? Her band slowly filled in with moe and moe slowly exited but the music never stopped. I imagine we'll see something like this.
This is friend of a friend of a friend info. It is probably bs.

I've tried to make a list of all of the possibilities for people that could headline. Some are a little of a stretch, but most are pretty realistic options. What should we add to it?
You forgot Radiohead, Neil Young and the Rolling Stones (I don't think the Stones will happen, but it's a possible.
Widespread Panic and Phish might as well be added - WSP might be overkill and Phish is too soon, but they are both a possibility (considering 2011 will be the longest WSP has gone without headlining and Phish is an easy huge jump in ticket sales).
Dispatch is a possibility (they are broken up, but get together occasionally) although I don't think it's likely.
Pavement, Interpol, the Pixies aren't headliners; they subheadlined at Coachella (although I'm really hoping and expecting Interpol for next year).
Wow, glaring omission with the Rolling Stones. That's what I get for making a quick list. I'll edit the list and add them.
As for Radiohead, Tom Petty, Neil Young, that's why I made the first line "Anyone that already has". If someone's already headlined they could easily do it again (i.e. Panic, DMB, etc.)
Late Night: Furthur - This might not happen. Phil might still be pissed from when they kicked him off the stage early so Kanye would go on.
I don't know.......if he were really that pissed off to the point that he didn't want to play Roo anymore....why would he play his acoustic set the next day? I think he'll be back at some point.

Haha I should probably read more carefully then. My bad.
There's not a thing worth remembering When tomorrow can bring someone new Get used to the thought You can't be what you're not Life has already got plans for you

This can't even be considered speculation since it is rooted in nothing but hopes and dreams, but my dream Bonnaroo lineup for 2011 would include:
Radiohead The White Stripes David Bowie or U2 or Neil Young MMJ Daft Punk Outkast Arcade Fire
All of these obviously will not happen. So 3-4 of those 7, and I'll be happy. 5 and I'll be completely stoked. Would also like to see The Strokes and Interpol on the bill. And wouldn't mind seeing The Flaming Lips on the bill again since I loved their set of their own material this year. /impossible dreams
