Best Surprise of My LIFE, Thursday at the Farm . .

Ok, so other than myself, there is only one friend of mine that before this year, had been to the same number of Bonnaroo's as me, and that would be my best friend in the world, Ashley Reynolds. Ashley moved from Delaware to Key West Florida in January, and i havent seen her since. There was a lot of back and forth whether or not her current locale in Florida would allow her to be able to make Bonnaroo this year, and as far as MOST of us knew, this year was a no. I was on track to to holding the solo title of 6 Bonnaroo's. I mentioned we were tired, so nap time was needed, so i tried to catch a few ZZZZ's with my ipod in lounging in my camp chair. So as i'm dozing in and out my boyfriend John 'went to the bathroom'. Next thing i hear a little while later is Ashleys voice, something about 'hey bitches!' or something. At first i thought i was dreaming, and then i realized that my best friend just showed up in this field, all the way from Key West with a suitcase in her hand. I dont think i have ever jumped up so fast. I yelled 'Fuck You' or something to that effect as i attacked hugged her. Everyone else was just as surprised. I was so confused at first, i really didnt know what was going on. I mean here Ashley was, at Bonnaroo with a camp chair and suitcase in hand. I remember thinking for some reason that she was going to be there only for a few minutes, but i quickly realized she was here with us for the weekend. Needless to say my eyes welled up with tears of joy. I put my sunglasses on to hide it, but it was prety obvious. Driving in i was thinking to myself how different Roo will be without my Roo Partner of 5 years. I even had a little fantasy play out in my head where she just showed up, but as i thought of that i also accepted at the same time that she wasnt going to be there. . . . . .And then she showed up. Ashley, thank you for your amazingness, i love you and cant wait till your HOME for good, and John i know it was hard so thanks for keeping the best secret ever and giving me the surprise of a lifetime, i love you.
