i've had a lot of fun with this type of thing before.
basically, you just take turns making a writing exercise for others, it can be a form for others to try, it can be subject matter, it can be including certain words, whatever.
at the risk of standing out here all my lonesome with no one to participate, i'ma issue anyone reading the first challenge, which is...
the dreaded haiku!
doesn't have to be in japanese, doesn't have to be perfect syllable count, just what you think holds true in some sense to the haiku form.

I really dig that, zen. It says a lot with little words. I'm going to post another haiku just for the sake of it because I feel like I copped out on my first one, but if you'd like you can go ahead and choose the next exercise. Maybe more people will like this and join in
white butterfly flaps while the wind briefly appears; the Farm is now cooled.
Go ahead and post a new exercise if you'd like zen and feel free to post a poem along with it! Remember that it can be any kind of exercise you like!
When there's been some posts, go ahead and choose the next person that gets to make the exercise.

ok, not sure I'm the best qualified to head up a poetry exercise...lol. I was not an English major and after years am rusty on terminology....
but I have always enjoyed the poetic devices where an image is conveyed through words. Like onomatopoiea (I think I butchered the spelling, sorry), personification or alliteration. Likewise, similes and metaphors.
So rather than just rhyme, which is easy, let's try to focus on those tactics?
( I feel like I am spouting such BS )
ok, here goes an example....some musings on inforoo
still beats across cyberspace a pulse not measured nor felt yet real and infused with life nourishing all of our souls a collective yet quiet beat it quickens from your thoughts

hey, friend, i'm not qualified either if you gotta know this or that or have this paper or that one, but i say all you gotta have is heart to art, baby, and thats about it. just friends taking turns making exercises, growing and feeling things out is all. no need to stress it. anyones welcome to join in our reindeer games.
no need to be sorry about spelling, right now it seems to just be the two of us and im no grammar gremlin or spelling nazi. you actually got really close, just switch a letter and you're there, its onomatopoeia. for the last part, just think "poe-try".
hope i understand right, but it looks like we're doing imagery using poetic devices. tres cool. also one of my favorites. not bs at all, but im biased haha. i think its fine.
really like how you expressed inforoo in that one. its the internet, so its kind of abstract imagery, but i really like it. i feel you on it
k, here's mine..
allied apples arrange atop the cranky ground to wake its slumber, crisply dropped to signal fall to its feet while scattered birds protest

haiku: uncertain circuits surgery of zombie brains too many facebooks
alliteration: An Absolute apparition anchors in our atomic arsenal. Behaving like bums as bully billionaires bestow bankruptcy Crooked crows caw and corrupt us like corrosive cattle cancer Denounce your dollar'd dreams and divorce from devout destruction
I've got an exercise....how about haiku style but with prime numbers from 1-11. I'm just riffin' here. kinda like this..........
We've-----1 surprisingly-------3 found enlightenment----5 perfectly concealed behind---7 the facade of ego construction----------9 Know thyself is only a dreamed universe---11
