yup. hopefully they can manage to expand Centeroo a wee bit somehow and bring back the Sonic Forest AND the Art of Such n Such next year for the 10th anniversary. They said they had surprises.....
but yeah. i doubt that'd happen. who knows! *shrugs*

Yeah, how's about we get rid of that lame beach thing and the carnival games and bring back the sonic forest, the art of such n' such, the discoteque arcade, and the firefly lamps?
I think that the Lunar Stage was wildly successful. I'd like to see the Art of Such and Such return, though. At least caught a fire juggler there Thursday night after Dieselboy.
I could stand to see the volleyball go but the slip and slide and the other water thing was pretty cool. (Didn't do it, though.)

I didn't realize Art of Such n Such wasn't there this year (I wasn't there either). Such n Such was a real part of Centeroo, i.e., the Sonic Village, post office, etc. This real piece of Bonnaroo, that I thought was a staple of the fest, was replaced with a slip n slide.
I grew up worshipping Rock and Roll like a religion. I know its shortcomings and strengths but have loved it unconditionally all the same since I was eight-years old. I ran away and joined the circus and honestly, I'm still as obsessed as I was as a boy. I'm not a kid anymore but I still remember how it felt and it doesn't really feel all that different to me now.

They got rid of the firefly lamps?!?!
The sonic forest was at Ultra this year ;D and it was awesome! My poor boyfriend had to sit and listen to me go on and on about how "this was at bonnaroo in 2006 and it was so cool etc etc etc"...didn't believe me till he tried it
I am sad Such n Such didn't get to be a part of Bonnaroo this year. They are amazing people. If you are ever in/near Atlanta they do very cool events:

Did anyone miss the Flieberflobber or whatever the fuck is was called from last year? You jumped up and down on this thing and flames sprouted out...it was awesome watching it but never got a chance to do it and wanted to try it this year....alas it was not there...was upset.
