Dasher would eat your linebackers alive with a side of collard greens and mashed taters.
We're not UAB....
GO VOLS!!!
Worse. Right now, you're Louisiana Tech. I know pickins were already slim when Kiffin bailed to go suck at USC, but hell, the guy we got to replace Tony Franklin at OC would've probably been a better decision for HC in Knoxville than a guy that could only go 4-7 in the WAC. Kiffin left Knoxville in such a mess that AT BEST, it'll be a long, hard road to recovery. I just hope you don't get whooped by the Commode Odors. I'll save ya a seat on the blue bandwagon, but ya better hop up on it while the gettin's good. Once we've destroyed Minnesota in our home opener, room is gonna start runnin' out.
Vector, Your kids got smarter by trash talking UF, my problem with that comment is, I did not know the government allowed Blue Raiders to reproduce.
I take all shitt talking, Gator hating as a sign of respect. Everyone, whom is not a fan, hates a champion. How much trash talking goes out every year for the Prairie View Panthers? Just make it good trash. None of that weak shit! Like, "Socks with sandals wearing rednecks". Wolf I expect more. Hey, I saw a bumper sticker the other day that reminded me of you, "Mississippi state, 5 million people, 5 last names." That joke works for Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama and any other SEC state other than Florida(we have a population of like 15 million).
"Trash talking about college football is just fun."
So true, this is one of the first threads I check out when I log on to Inforoo. (and just for the record none of this is taken personally.) Yes, I cried when the whole world knew Tebow was gonna run the ball on 4th down and did not get it. But that was old news, kind of, when we whipped OU a few months later.
^^^^So are you saying UF is not a Championship program and your gauge or comparison is to ole Miss? If you would have picked Bama or Texas or even Tennessee or someone else, then okay, but that is weak trash talking. First, Ole Miss has not won a national Championship since the 1960's. and they have 3 of them, UF 3, so if National Championships are how we rate a Championship team than Yale and Princeton have a voice in that debate. SEC titles, Ole Miss 6, UF 8. Florida wins that. Remember you are only as good as your last game/season, Was Ole Miss not ranked like 8th at the start of the 2009 season. Ended up 9-4, 4-4 in their own conference.

Scrog, if I had picked Bama or Texas or Tennessee it wouldn't have been trash talking. Congrats on having the upper hand against Ole Miss in SEC championships, btw. That's pretty impressive. Hee hee.
Crap, we play App. State this year Yes, we UF fans take great pride in our betterness over Ole Miss for SEC titles ;D (and yes betterness is the word of the day)

Tomorrow the word is superiocity, which is what MTSU has over all those snobby caviar-and-champagne tailgaters on West End. Don't let Appy State bite you in the butt like they did to #5 Michigan a few years ago.

You guys have such a mental hold of UGA we pretty much have to hate you, just to make it through the fall. Much of that changed, as a fan, when Spurrier left. I lived to see him throw his visor. Got nothing but respect for Tebow.
I think I dislike Georgia Vols fans more then the Vols themselves. I grew on the state borders. I do pull for the Mocs.
SFA ,thanks for the Tebow love. and yes, over the years we kind of do own UGA. (now have that dog hide those cock n' balls ) I even laughed when Spurrier use to throw his hat, now he's a Cock I do not see that as often. I kind of feel sorry for UT, tough times for them.

I see what's happening to UTK like a forest fire. When the forest gets too old and dry and brittle, nature burns it down and starts over. They'll be back, it'll just take time to rebuild it right.

Our record was better, our QB is certainly better, we won the bowl game we went to, and our coach didn't bail at the first chance. (Stockstill was offered PILES more money to coach at Memphis and ECU, and decided to stay put.)
Diaz looks like a good hire. Mullen is a smart Coach. UF misses him. That is our HC game this year. Will be tougher than expected. And Vector, since you pointed it out in my Sig. I will be forced to follow the Dasher this year. Good analogy on UT.

Put Dasher on your fantasy team if you can. He'll put up sick numbers again, probably not a near 3k/1k like last year, but probably a repeat 2k/1k. And actually, I wasn't talking trash about UTK earlier, just an observation. Fulmer built a house of cards painted like bricks. UTK fans will have a few tough seasons, but they'll be back in 4 years IF Dooley is better than his WAC record. If not, and say they drop games to Memphis and Vandy this year, they'll need to find a new HC stat.

Sunbelt vs SEC....no comparison there.
And lemme tell ya, don't let Dooley's record at La Tech fool you. Look at them previously and look at not only who they played , but how the games came out, they almost beat Boise State.. which is saying a lot for La Tech.
Hes got the pedigree, and I wont be surprised if we pull off a MAJOR upset this year of either Florida, Bammer, Oregon or LSU.
I think we beat Georgia (again) cause we just have their number, and they aint gonna be nearly as good as last year, and that aint saying much!
And Im sorry, maybe I am a homer, but UT is still UT and we aint losing to Kentucky, SC, or Vandy...no way!
I do say we are down and we wont compete for the East, 7-5 is likely, and I would be stoked at 8-4...as far as a bowl game, lord who knows...

Well, we play the teams on our schedule. There isn't much you can do about that. If I were a UTK fan, I would have pretty low expectations. 6-6 in the SEC would be pretty amazing for the state of affairs in Knoxville this year. Pedigrees don't mean squat. How many outstanding ncaa football coaches are sons of outstanding football coaches? Lane Kiffin isn't outstanding. Skip Holtz is good, but not outstanding. Derek Dooley's has one winning season in a conference that would be looked at the same as the SBC or worse if Boise State wasn't in it. Mike Shula... *cough* Tommy Bowden " In fact, I can't think of a single pedigree coach who has taken a struggling power conference team back to prominence. Skip Holtz winning at ECU is the closest, and C-USA hasn't exactly had much success against the SBC in the past few years.
