Sleigh Bells Bear in Heaven Lightning Bolt Future Islands Deerhunter No Age Woods
You should go to Hopscotch Music Festival in downtown Raleigh in September if you weren't already planning on it. Has all these artists except Sleigh Bells and Lightning Bolt (also, Atlas Sound instead of Deerhunter).

I've seen them as the headliners in a small-ish club, right after Microcastle came out, and it was fantastic. Bradford Cox seemed a nervous wreck even then, though; hard to picture how nervous he'd be at Bonnaroo.
Yeah, it was opening for NIN, and they were obviously out of their element. Like I said, though, it was okay, and I don't doubt it'd be better at Roo or in a smaller venue... Gwinnet Arena was way too big for a band of their sonic nature. It sounded thin and stretched out, if that makes any sense.

CARIBOU!!!
this band is amazing, saw a bit of them at Camp Bisco and my mind was blown. had to make my way closer to the stage just to figure out how those sounds were coming from what i see on stage. serious psychedelia, would make for a perfect late night tent show

eits is not lower tier at all. i'd say they'd be in the upper-middle part of the bill. probably like the fifth or sixth line, like maybe where the black keys were this year

What about Earth Wind & Fire? Someone mentioned Donna Summer for a late night set, and I think her or Earth Wind & Fire would be a pretty fun late night tent dance party.

Havn't seen either Deer Tick or Beach House on here.. both would be pretty decent adds IMO
I saw Beach House perform in small tallahassee bar earlier this year, and they put on an incredible show.. caught the webcast of their set @ Pitchfork fest too, seemed like they could work a bigger crowd just as well..

Faux-hipsters? Wow, that is an entirely new way of looking down on people. Are they the ones who accidentally wear clothes that match and make them look like they actually realize how retarded 80's fashion was, or would that just be the coke habit without the trust fund?
