Aggrolites, old style ska reggae band. They played coachella last year and i think they would be great in a midday tent. I'll post a video in the video section.
I caught them last summer. They're still really awesome, especially for their age. My only complaint is that, like, 10 of the 13 songs they played were off of 'The Eternal.' Luckily, it's a good record, so it was still a really good show, but I'd like to see them at a time when they're not promoting a new album and they mix up their setlists more.

This Nation's Saving Grace is one of my all-time favorite records. That album is perfect. TWAFW, Grotesque, and many others also rule. I quacking love The Fall.

Gotta love it! The same thing happened this year when me and someone else from our group went and got pit for Dead Weather and the other three in our group went to Weezer. But we all made peace after experiencing Jay-Z live from the pit.
I know, that time slot was the worst conflict of the year. At least it wasn't as bad as the '09 Wilco/Decemberists/Elvis Costello/Mars Volta conflict during the same time slot.
I'm a huge Volta fan, so I had no trouble, but in retrospect that conflict (which also included legend David Grisman) was brutal. My worst conflict in 09 was Femi Kuti/Public Enemy.

My brother went to part of Public Enemy and said it was terrible. Not sure if you went or not.
I thoughy PE was great, and so did everyone around me. But, I did see the first 20 minutes or so of Kuti and it was almost unbelievably good. Still, the PE concert was fucking great... my #25 album of all time live? Pshh...
The same buddy who saw Sonic Youth saw the Wilco set in 09 and said it was way better than the 07 set. He then caught the rest of Volta and said he'd wished he'd seen the whole thing. I, after Volta, went to take a piss and caught the last song of The Decemberists' set... holy god that was amazing. I repeat, isn't Bonnaroo great?
