Why not just switch out Muse for them? I don't really like Muse.
If I were going for what I wanted I would do that, but I am trying to create a lineup that is as highly plausible as possible. Their has to be at least one headliner with a KOL like popularity. Muse fits that Arcade Fire does not.
Firday: What: The Strokes > Muse (headline), Which: Furthur (ln) This Broken Bells (ln)
Saturday: What: Brian Wilson > Elton John and Leon Russell with guests (headline), Lady Gaga (ln) This Levon Helm and the Ramble on the Road (ln)
Sunday: What: Preservation Hall Jazz Band > Buddy Guy > My Morning Jacket > Neil Young (headline)
Elton John and Leon Russell w/ special guests*Neil Young*Muse*Lady Gaga* Furthur*The Strokes*Brian Wilson*My Morning Jacket* Buddy Guy*Preservation Hall Jazz Band*Broken Bells*Levon Helm and the Ramble on the Road
I didn't do much dancing to Sigur Ros. And that was one of the best late-nights ever.
this.
and thats just my dream lineup. i love EITS so if i could make the lineup myself id have it be a night set. plus with the lineup i had i there wasnt really another big name that could be the "tent headliner" of the LN, so i just went with them
by the way on the line-up at the bottom I will start to do the sizes in a week or two when I have enough bands that the order makes more sense.

^ Agreed one of those at least needs to be swapped out for a younger headliner and I have a bad gut feeling about Coldplay holding down Friday night next year (which may result in as much if not more hate than KOL garnered this year)
I'm digging alot of these lineups. They could use a little Pavement imo. Mainly because I was supposed to go in Sep but just found out 2 minutes ago I'll be in a wedding instead...

2-1 Pavement it is...Apparently I will only be missing the rehearsal dinner and as long as I hop in my car and make the six hour drive after the show I should be ok.

Prince, Neil Young, Pixies, Daft Punk, Beck, Primus, Arcade Fire, Neutral Milk Hotel (a guy can dream), Roxy Music, My Bloody Valentine, Grizzly Bear, Animal Collective, Vampire Weekend, Sufjan Stevens, Crystal Castles, Deerhunter, Wolf Parade, Yo La Tengo, No Age, Yacht, Bear in Heaven, Gil-Scott Heron, Sleigh Bells, A Place to Bury Strangers, Wild Nothing, Volcano Choir, Junior Boys, King Khan and His Shrines, Sunn O))), Tame Impala, Surfer Blood, Sea Wolf, Battles, Bibio, Delorean, Bowerbirds
It's a bit on the hipster side, but I like what I like.
Anthrax>Slayer>Black Sabbath Superjam>Megadeth>Guns N Roses
Modified: Took out Talib Kweli, Mos Def, and A Tribe for now (reaching). Took out The Strokes, The Raconteurs. Added Allison Krauss (bluegrass tent), Vampire Weekend, Robert Randolph to DBTs, and switched Lupe Fiasco to Janelle Monae.
