1) Creed 2) Soldier Boy 3) Alvin and the Chipmunks 4) "Cats" the musical 5) Steel Panther
Just kidding, here's my real list: 1) Rolling Stones 2) U2 3) Daft Punk 4) Tool (doing this summer tour's setlist plus extras) 5) Red Hot Chili Peppers
I don't know about the second list but I like your style with the first. Creed is long overdue on the farm and a Soulja Boy late night would be SICK. Soulja Boy is the shit, you're right about that my friend.

to be completely honest.. if they don't get either a. Radiohead b. Neil Young or c. Daft Punk I don't think I'll be heading down again next year. There are just so many other amazing festivals that are so much closer and bonnaroo is becoming less and less special.

I have a dream. Deftones late night tent. And either Tool Headlining, or an APC or Puscifer slot. Then Maynard comes on stage with Chino and 2 of my favorite vocalists duet 'Passenger'. That would make my life.
Honestly, it doesn't really matter who's there, I'm sure no matter what there will be plenty of bands I'll want to see. However, if I could throw in some more realistic (as in act isn't dead or broken up) hopes, these would be them:
Prince David Bowie Radiohead Neil Young Aphex Twin Van Morrison Leonard Cohen King Crimson

What about Tom Waits? I heard he was working on another musical with Robert Wilson that will debut next year. I think it'd be pretty awesome to see a Waits musical staring himself at Bonnaroo. Super long shot, but it'd be cool.

LAGGY, I really think that the Deftones could be in serious contention to be added in the top 20 of the line-up for 2011. They are about to be a part of the blackdiamondskye tour which they will most likely follow up with their own headlining tour and then go global at some point. That ought to bring them back home for summer festivals. Would they headline a tent? Headline Which? Preheadline What? Thoughts?
I hear their new guitarist, Josh Klinghoffer I believe his name is, is amazing.
He is really awesome. As much of a creative force as Frusciante, in many ways. He's actually all over Frusciante's solo work. Definitely a lot on the album Shadows Collide With People, and A Sphere In The Heart Of Silence is a full album by the two of them. More electronic-tinged sounds than you would be used to hearing from him.
Here's some clips:
I would actually still really like to see RHCP. I'm kind of bitter I never got to see them with Frusciante, which is why I said that I guess. They're both totally awesome guitarists really.
Rolling Stones Paul McCartney (can you imagine a Beatle AND the Stones the same weekend!?) Chile Peppers Harry Belafonte (wouldn't that just be awesome?) Daft Punk Eminem Brand New Roger Waters "The Wall" Mike Pinto

Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
