This was a well put together little festival. There were about 3500-4000 people so it was not very crowded, and there was no walk longer than 5 minutes or so to anything, plus it is cool that you can take a bike with you. The music was fantastic pretty much all day every day, and Fri-Sat there were tons of collaborations. Dark Side of the Moonshine by Poor Mans Whiskey was another highlight. Most of Leftover played on Yonders set, Keller had 4 or five walk ons from Sam Bush, to Austin. Yonder really outdid themselves they had great covers and guests including Leftover, Keller, Nershi, Sam Bush, Dan Tyminski, Larry Keel and several more. Tyminski sang Man Of Constant Sorrow from O brother with Yonder backing him. The Security was pretty light and mainly seemed to work on the honor system, I brought a couple of beers in with me almost every time and never had a problem with it. On the way in the search was only for glass in the cooler.
I am not sure I would go to Wakarusa it looks like it would be ridiculously crowded at that venue. That being said Yonder announced that they will be doing it again next year, and I think I will make it back to this one.
^I just heard horror stories about waka, people having to camp two miles away in overflow, no room to set up and strecth out, and that it was pretty difficult to get close to a stage.

This is my first time on Inforoo in about a month. I lied about being 100% in and didn't make it to this and am skipping Voodoo too. But it sounds like I need to try to get out there next year for this. I hope to see some of y'all at Bear Creek next month.
