i'd vote for finnish metal band korpiklaani, cancer bats( though they are sort of hardcore) and i still think protest the hero would be awesome, and i don't know why fucked up hasn't played yet.

Slayer would be great. First concert I ever went too back in like 90 or 91. Somewhere around there. Seen them many times over the years. Always a good time.

Danger-Yay: Deftones; perhaps my all time favorite. Skindred; ballin idea for the farm plus their live energy i feel would be rediculous even for a daytime set Gojira; If we can enjoy Dillinger Escape Plan on the farm then this should be easy Between the Buried and Me: Great songwriting. Sometimes it speaks for itself. Dethklok; Skwisgaar Skwigelf, taller than a tree. Toki Wartooth, not a bumblebee. Pickles, the drummer. Doodily doo. (Ding dong, doodily doodily doo). Nathan Explosion.
Danger-Nay Slayer; I love Slayer but like it or not they have a historically brutal live show and pit. Great band but I don't think it's the right atmosphere. Mudvayne; I'm sure we can find better quasi-progressive metal than this slop. Dragonforce; They can only hold my attention for a couple songs, but I'm open to convincing otherwise.
Deftones? Really? I never considered them a "metal" band. I remember Adrenaline being O.K. , but I don't think I could listen to that guy whine for an entire set.
some previously mentioned bands that I would like to see: Iron Maiden Sabbath Rob Zombie Motorhead (awesome) maybe even Megadeth late night
Soulfly is coming out with a new album. I think they would be an awesome fit for Bonnaroo. I just want to see Max Cavalera live, regardless of what band he's involved with at the moment!

You get demerits for leaving out William Murderface, Murderface, Murderface. Now go sit in the corner and listen to Miley Cyrus while you think about what you've done.

and, here's my obligatory metal list, like anyone didn't already know this was coming:
Dimmu Borgir (new album coming out oct 12) Opeth (needs to get their asses to roo. Do not go to this show with me if you don't want to be part of the path of destruction I leave.) Between the Buried and Me Arcturus (though I seriously doubt anyone will ever see Arcturus and Dimmu Borgir play the same gig) Gorgoroth Mastodon again, Baroness again, Meshuggah already! Impotent Sea Snakes. They might not be metal on the outside, but they are metal. They really are. So metal.

Yup. They actually just kicked ICS Vortex out last year, which is why I think Arcturus might be touring again. Also, it is absolutely fucking adorable that Druid and JHo are participating in this thread. They're gonna get peenchy squeezy cheeks for being so fucking cute!
