Last year was a rainy mess, but it's way fun. Tons of up and coming bands play every year and a alot of punk also. Most likely will go again. Still planning on ACL, but considering Voodoo now since MMJ is playing.

I don't think it ever really sells out.
I "won" the chance to buy discounted passes; not sure if I'll go for it or not. If anyone definitely wants to buy some and wants the cheaper rate, let me know and maybe we can work out a deal?

I'm pretty sure I will want some. I really want to do voodoo, but I doubt I can pull it off. I already have my ACL tickets and don't want to bail, but I haven't been to Nawlins in a while. None of my friends are going to my knowledge right now though soi doubt I will change my plans.
Looks like I will be making the trip to Austin for ACL and funfunfunfest. I have no problems with that. How much are the discounted tickets supposed to be? I was in Europe when all that went down so I didn't have the chance to be on the ball for it.

Last year the discounted tickets were just under $80 including fees, with the regular tickets going up to $120 or so. But this year is supposed to be their biggest discount ever, so we'll see.
it is looking more and more likely that i am going to have to sell my 3day ACL pass and try to pick up some cash along with a friday pass, because of personal conflicts on saturday and sunday. so this fest can help console me.
