This is interesting to me. The only way you would know this is if you were the inspector yourself or you and Wolf were both mafia. You're both acting kind of sketch to me. But with claims of the inspector flying around, I feel we should be thorough before making a hasty decision.
I'm null for the moment. I don't want to recklessly kill our inspector the first round.

Higgi --> Null
Actually, I know wolf is not the inspector because he has been falsely accusing me. It would have been impossible for him to receive my name in the beginning because I am not mafia. The inspector would not adamantly accuse someone of being mafia in the first round unless they knew for sure that they were mafia.
Hell... wolf may not even be mafia, he could still be mad at me over the last game but he is most def NOT the inspector.
With that being said, I don't understand why you would say that he seems sketchy but then opt for a run off between EAP and myself? ???
If I survive this round, I hope the real inspector does inquire about me... that way at least one person will know that I'm not mafia... even if they can't come right out and say so!
^^^ I nulled my vote - and also said you BOTH seem kind of sketch. My sneaking suspicion on Wolf concerned that of the inspector [last page].
Personally, I think having BEK and WOLF in a runoff would be the most constructive thing for us to do. But as I am beginning to feel more comfortable with the thought of BEK's innocence, I will vote WOLF into the runoff.

I think Bek is guilty, or at the least very suspicious, because of she switched the vote to me. My guess is if you look back at previous games in instances where there was a first round run-off including 3 or more people, one of the players in the run-off could have changed their vote in attempt to save themselves. But that never happens because people will change their vote to make sure a straight-up kill without a run-off never happens. I think Bek assumed I was the inspector and wanted to kill me off.
I'm all for making a run-off between just me and her because I think that will make sure that any possible mafia staying out of this and voting for EAP will be forced to go on the record for voting against me.
Some of this might not make sense because I'm watching PTI and typing at the same time, so just tell me what you need clarified.
Bek's changed vote continues to rub me in the wrong way. Changing her vote to oust herself from the runoff and deciding to simply kill another off in the first round is not standard operating procedure in this game.
Unless y'all have good reason to believe EAP should remain in the runoff, I feel we should refocus our efforts on a runoff between BEK and WOLF.. I know I already said that above, but it's the only thing I feel good about.

^It is a pretty bold statement, jen. I'd like to hear something more than instinct before I think I could get on board with someone predicting all three mafia before the end of Day 1.

I'd like to hear more about this too. Wolf, you seem pretty sure of yourself, but I'm not sure that all of what you are saying makes sense with all of what you are doing.

I was saying if I worded something weirdly, it's probably because I was watching PTI at the same time. So if I was confusing someone I would clarify.
I would like to see a run-off between me and Bek because I think Bek is mafia. If she is mafia that means both of her fellow members will probably line up behind her in voting for me. I think that can be useful in identify those fellow members later in the game.
Was there anything else in particular that you were referring to NBF?

well that is just pretty much trying to scare the rest of us into being suspicious of anyone voting for you. i'm all for saving your own skin, but that was a pretty suspicious statement or at best accidentally loaded with all kinds of fallacy. also, i don't see that vets in this game would advertise who they thought the inspector was if they werent mafia, especially first round, so that makes me suspicious of anyone that's said who they think the inspector is. there's not really been any talk about who the inspector is, so its about a safe time as any for the actual inspector (unless townspeople coughcough mafia go saying their name by accident). the only effect of successfully and persuasively identifying the inspector is to ensure their death at night.

Ya know, I don't really understand why I wouldn't vote for you after you voted for me. So.... how does that make me guilty again? I am relatively confident wolf is mafia but at this time it is just my word against his. If he is not mafia then he is just a really, really confused townsperson. Definitely not the inspector.
Bek's changed vote continues to rub me in the wrong way. Changing her vote to oust herself from the runoff and deciding to simply kill another off in the first round is not standard operating procedure in this game.
And to think that I would only reciprocate my vote for wolf and kill him in the event of saving myself because I am mafia rubs me the wrong way. Higgi honey, that's just an insult to my intelligence.
If I survive this round, I hope the real inspector does inquire about me... that way at least one person will know that I'm not mafia... even if they can't come right out and say so!
After further thought, I want to expand on this. Here is a msg to our real inspector... right now, as is, you can tell that I am not mafia. I KNOW that wolf is NOT the inspector because he thinks I'm guilty. Therefore, you (Inspector) also know that he is not the inspector and that his claims of my guilt are nothing more than assumptions. This imo, is either the ill fated work of a mafiaso or a deranged commoner... but def not the inspector.
Let me just add that I am aware that wolf never claimed to be the inspector but I am just telling you the one thing I am certain of. And I gotta tell you, I don't think we should rule EAP out just yet... I mean, maybe this is her lucky game? It is bound to happen eventually. Jesus, does any of this make sense? nomnom.

i will change my vote to BEK. i just feel like if wolf is being so adamant that he must have knowlege that we all don't have. i would rather the runoff be between us two, if he is so sure of her guilt.
I'm keeping my vote for EAP. I am NOT the inspector but I see it going down like this:
EAP, BEK, Higgi = Mafia
Wolf = Inspector
Just saying
jen, i don't know why you think i'm mafia so hardcore. the only thing people have against me seems to be all to do with last game. (which if you don't remember, my ignorance helped us townies win ;D). i WISH i could be mafia. we all know how much i want to be. it is still too early for me to tell much, but you guys sure are slinging lots of mud already.
Day One first runoff voting is closed. Vote Tally Wolf: 3 votes Bek: 4 votes EAP: 4 votes
Votes Cast Jen >>> EAP Bacon >>> EAP Wolf >>> Bek NBF >>> Bek LawnGnome >>> Wolf EAP >>> Wolf >>> Bek Indi >>> EAP Bek >>> Wolf Mike D >>> Bek NTRT >>> EAP Higgi >>> Bek >>> null >>> Wolf
Day One second runoff begins now, with votes carrying over. Players may vote for either Bek or EAP.
Vote Tally Bek: 4 votes EAP: 4 votes
Votes Cast Jen >>> EAP Bacon >>> EAP Wolf >>> Bek NBF >>> Bek EAP >>> Bek Indi >>> EAP Mike D >>> Bek NTRT >>> EAP
NBF, I know it was a bold statement but really it was just a personal prediciton. I could be 100% wrong. I just thought it would be fun to throw it out there.
FTR- I am not trying to tell y'all to vote based on my prediction and I don't expect anyone to be swayed. It was just that, a prediciton. Sorry to stir things up Y'all can totally call me an idiot when the game ends and none of my predictions were true. It was just for fun....ok and maybe a little to shake things up.
indigrainbow-I get where you are coming from.....but I really have no clue whether Wolf is the inspector or the three I names are Mafia. That was more about me having a little bit of fun. As for being a vet and saying who I think is inspector....well it really doesn't matter that I am "outing" someone because I have nothing to back it up. A hunch without any evidence may not go very far. It may incite some discussion and stir things up, but oh well....a little excitement might make it more interesting.
I trust that you all will make your decisions based on whatever strategy works best for you. With all the lying and tricks I tend to rely on my gut and so far it seems to work for me.....with the exception of KDOGG because no matter what he says I ALWAYS think he is Mafia

Honestly at this point I think wolf and EAP are both mafia.
I mean, who volunteers to put themselves in a run off (EAP) to protect another player (wolf)?
The way I see it, things were hot between wolf/myself which diverted attention from EAP. Things were shaping up to become a run off between wolf and myself with a split consensus but EAP volunteered to go into the run off which saved wolf from a likely(?) death. Doesn't anyone find that suspicious?
Now that one of the main contenders of the round have been put out of the race for iminent death, it is no competition between Eap and myself.
If you guys kill me, you're killing a townsperson... scout's honor on hippie's vinyl and kdogg's corn and jesus's bonnaroo ticket. I effin' swear on it.
Mark my words, put it on my tombstone... wolf is mafia.
superbek>>>EAP
ugh. I fucking hate the first round. If I die today, I at least hope you all are able to use my death as a learning experience later in the game.

Can you explain to me why you think she was trying to save Wolf?
I thought EAP was pushing for a run-off to save herself. As it stood she had three votes and Wolf had 2. It looked to me like she was trying save herself for a little longer via run-off.

^^you're right, I stand corrected. I thought the run off was between wolf/myself when she changed her vote.
Regardless, I'm not mafia but I guess you guys will just have to find that out for yourselves! At least if you're gonna kill me, I can play on the observing side with mr. dogg, dangit! I knew I should have reffed this game!

I can't escape this. She did present a defense but in my experiences, we always shoot for the runoff vice a straight up kill. Would of regretted not voting for her.
